Stay away from this place! We got 4 curry chicken roti to take home and eat while watching the Leafs game. We ate around 7pm. My parents, my husband and I were ALL sick by midnight, well into the next evening. From both ends. Horrible experience and have called the health department because of this. They should be shut down!

Small stand-up eat & run place, with many treats, and drinks, but I was not impressed. The doubles were not flavourful, the pholourie was a bit rubbery and the dip was salty with too much black pepper, and the aloo pie was too doughy. I will not be going back.

Last time I had the chicken roti it did not have as much filling and a lot of potatoes. So if they are gonna start getting cheap since it's like $8 a roti I will just go to the Hopper Hut or Roti Hut down the street. Cast my vote. There's better out there, Adios amigos!

my husband and I were in the area this afternoon to look at an apartment in the area and found this little place right in front of the bus stuff - I am SO glad we went in. Although there are no tables in the place it's perfect for those moments where you want something quick to run out the... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
