Food & atmosphere very nice! Fine dining without the hefty price tag! Will return before they shut down :( Food & service is not the fastest, but if you're not in a hurry, it's still worth the wait :)

Have loved eating at this restaurant for the last 30 years. The atmosphere and the personal service of the owners. Truly a gem.

We have been coming to Vincent's Spot for over 40 years when the original Vincent owned this wonderful restaurant. Helen and John have continued to serve excellent meals in a most warm and welcoming environment. We have sent many many friends and they are all very happy with their experience. The price of the meal includes delicious garlic bread, a... More

We have been going to Vincents Spot for approx. 40 years for special dinners with family. It's the best, the food is excellent and the place is serene and peaceful. I only hope in 2 years I get to go with my mom and my brother for my 60th birthday!

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant last night. From the outside it is very easy to miss, small storefront in a busy strip of stores including a Martial Arts dojo. Inside the restaurant is reminiscent of the 1970s, the carpet, wall panels, decorations, furniture, plates, painting, even the music doesn't seem to have changed in decades. We ordered... More

Be prepared to step back in time when you visit Vincent's. The fixed price menu is terrific; the food is awesome and plentiful and the service is great. There's never any need to rush through a meal here as patrons are encouraged to relax no take their time.

My husband and I went to Vincent's spot around 27 years ago. We had a wonderful meal and having moved out of the neighbourhood long ago, decided to go back with some friends last weekend. The restaurant is very cozy and intimate. They were doing a good business with regulars, as the owners knew most of their customers by name.... More

Visiting Toronto for the night, we did not want to eat at a chain restaurant, came across reviews for Vincent's Spot. So glad we decided to eat here, it was one of the best meals we have had out in so long. All meals include 3 courses, the food was excellent. Most meals were priced around $23.00. It is a... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
