Found the price points here to be very reasonable for Toronto Sushi Some good rolls in the spicy tuna, tuna dragon. Fried calamari was a little burnt - and this place is fairy busy as they aim to turnover tables. Would reco as a cheap and easy sushi place - but keep expectations in line w the prices

We came 30 minutes late before closing and we were informed we got the last call. so we had a quick order of sukiyaki and some drinks. It was tasty and I think I need to come back to try other menus. Restaurant was clean and decent. Typical Japanese restaurant. Service was great.

The Salmon Dragon Roll had unagi, tobiko, tempura bits, salmon, and avocado in it. Presentation-wise, this received zero points from me. The taste of the roll was quite satisfying and decent; however, the quality seemed very ‘all-you-can-eat like’ for us. In fact, I think that this roll could have belonged in a all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant for sure. The roll was... More

Hard to believe I had leftovers from a bento box, but the portions were quite generous. I had a deluxe bento and my partner had the Salmon bento with extra Sashimi. The appetizers were timely, service was great and I would highly recommend Sushi on Bloor!

My boyfriend and I visited a fews days ago during the "lunch promotion" time and were so excited to try somewhere new with amazing prices. Right away we realized that we did not matter as guests and were treated poorly/rudely. The host didn't say hi just pointed to a table for us to sit at, the menu was thrown to... More

Well, unfortunately i have to edit my previous review. We had lunch there last weekend and I was so disappointed. We were served a glass of warm tap water, a half bowl of cold miso soup, overdressed salad and the sushi was so sloppy, it was difficult to use chopsticks. The wait staff was borderline rude, especially when we asked... More

Very good! The food, service and price! Highly recommend. I've been to couple of sushi bars here in Toronto, but you just don't get what you expect. This one had it all.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
