Great place to go with a small group. There were 8 in our group and we all had a fantastic time. Service was wonderful. We had a great variety of oysters as well as some other app. A bit of bubbly too. Great location and atmosphere. Will be back soon!

We headed downtown for my birthday tonight bc I loooooove oysters. My bf is not a seafood fan so he got the steak and it was great (I sampled a few bites;). I ordered the dozen for $18 and some scallops, also amazing. They even brought me a flourless chili chocolate cake complete with a birthday candle. Birthday oyster mission... More

Dropped in for dinner before a show and was delighted with both the seafood and the service. Many varieties of oysters to choose from. The Fish and Chips were incredible - a large portion of fish with a light and crispy batter - not to be missed. The Sea Bream was beautifully prepared, light and full of flavour - an... More

I can't believe i didn;t go to this restaurant earlier! its 50 yards from my home and after recently being taken there for a bday dinner i am now obsessed! The food is so good and has a slightly asian twist to some of the regular dishes we are all used too. The pate which comes in its own little... More

We are staying near this place and avoided it due to hubby's seafood avoidance. Boy were we wrong to do so. Super friendly staff turned our "drink" into a stay. They even got hubs to try an oyster! I can't even do that. Treated us like family! Thank you Steven, and Izumi, and Gregory. Love, Chris & Chris!

Stopped by after a business meeting with my wife. It was a great restaurant with many different types of oysters for the choosing. Highly recommend giving it a try.

We came to Pearl Diver late Saturday night after SOUNDERS WINNING THE MLS CUP! We read excellent reviews and were pleasantly surprised to find it not very busy (almost 11PM Sat) Our waiter was so delightful - very helpful and engaging. The happy hour special includes one dozen oysters for $18, they pick them. On the regular menu there are... More

A group of friends went on a Saturday night and loved it. The chowder was fantastic and the mussels provincial were delicious. The wait staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. One of our group has a nut allergy and the kitchen was very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back.

My sister in law came from Hong Kong and I really wanted her to try some seafood restaurant in Toronto. I found this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We ordered soup, salad, fresh oysters, crab legs。For the main course we all had lobsters. All the good were so fresh and tasty. We would recommend this place to... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
