From returning customers, 'La Fenice' has been going down in quality & service, making our last visit very DISAPPOINTING! 1) First of all, the place was DEAD on a Friday night, only a few tables towards the window were occupied. 2) Secondly, our waiter (or...More

The three of us decided to try a different restaurant today before the theatre matinee and visited La Fenice. What a treat, NO BLARING music and we could actually hear each other when we talked. Friends enjoyed a seafood risotto and I tried their special...More

Had good memories of this place from years ago when I worked downtown and used it for business entertaining. But things (the restaurant? the Toronto dining scene? the world?) have changed. The food was OK, nothing special and not worth the "fine dining" prices. The...More

My parents took me for a wonderful Birthday lunch here last month, carpaccio was to die for and the veal was perfect, best I’ve had. Absolutely lovely, and great personable service. I look forward to my next visit.

We made a late evening reservation and they gladly accommodated. Had amazing service from professional servers. They made great recommendations on meal and wine pairing choices. Perfect evening.

The ambiance is distinguished, the service attentive and the food superlative, with focus on classic Italian favorites and fresh ingredients. Especially recommended are their seafood and veal dishes, as well as fantastic desserts (try the affogato, in particular).

This was a late Monday evening delight. Several places in Toronto are not open Monday evenings. This place looked interesting and though it was sparsely filled I went in. I am so glad I did. After conversing at length with the waiter I started with...More
