Always great food at this small, family-run restaurant! Staff is warm and attentive, making you feel like one of the family. Good wine reccomnendations on wine to go with your meal.

Stumbled on this place in the Corsa Italia neighbourhood of Toronto. Great family run restaurant. One of the owners, Silvia, personally greeted us to explain the menu and history and roots of their food from Italy. Pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly. The last time I had pasta this great was a few years ago in Italy Salads were fantastic.... More

I've been coming here for years. Overall, a fantastic place to eat. VERY authentic. Yes, there's no pizza per se here, but don't let that scare you off! Great atmosphere, great food, and great service (although in a homey way as opposed to a professional way). Prices are moderate - not exactly cheap, but are very fair for the quality... More

This restaurant has been in the "hood for a long time. It's still family-owned and has great atmosphere, excellent food and very good service. If you don't run into people you know, by the time you leave, you'll feel like you know everyone! Great place for a special occasion or just a nice evening out.

Great to go to a mid range restaurant at lunch time and have white table clothes and excellent service. My friend has dietary restrictions and she was offered a long list of special dishes they would cook just for her on the spot. All very friendly and low key.

This is my favorit resturant away from home. It is simply good authentic Italian resturant, the presentation is exactly like you will get in any Italian home, the service may be sometime slow but it is exactly what the Italian approach is, no rush, but when the food comes it is very tasty. If you wish to enjoy a real... More

If you're looking for an authentic italian food experience....and excellent food at that, this is the place to go. From the fresh pasta, homemade tomato sauce to the meat and fish dishes, everything is fantastic including the great ambience. It's like sitting in your nonna's house, warm and welcoming. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two, or a... More

While food was generally good, wine and service waned. Our waiter spilled wine over one of our guest, and didn't serve meals as ordered to people. Wine was "weak"', what more can I say.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
