Ordered the wild mushroom risotto and the gnocchi arabiatta. The risotto, despite having mushrooms and cheese visible , had absolutely no flavour. It had less flavour than plain rice. The gnocchi was ordered without hot peppers and somehow came with jalapeñoes. I've been to Italy a couple times and never seen a jalapeño in any meal. It was also very... More

Came here with my partner and had a great experience - the service from everyone was exceptional. We ordered the pappardelle pasta which was very fresh and unique, would definitely come back and order it again. Thank you!

The food was sensational, and the service was fast, attentive, and friendly. The pasta was very well done and the pizza was cooked to perfection. Will come back for sure!! Perfect date night location

The restaurant has nice ambience especially with the opened doors style in the front. The service is very good and the staff very friendly and helpful which really enhances any dining experience. They are knowledgeable about both the dishes they serve and drinks in general. They all take pride which is great. The menu looked really good but the result... More

Here on a Groupon that included a shared appetizer, 2 mains, 2 house wines and a shared dessert for $ 75. Not bad I thought.... Well appointed restaurant although the large TV in one corner seemed out of place. It's as if the owners weren't sure it was a casual restaurant or a fine dining restaurant and put the TV... More

Went here with another couple this evening who had offered to pre-purchase a "Groupon" discounted voucher for us too, but I'm just not a coupon type of fine diner, as I expect to pay full pop for full service and attentiveness. From my past experience, "discounted" fine dining has usually meant shortcuts in service, or downsized portions - and yes,... More

Coco Lezzone is a neighbourhod Italian bistro for us, and we eat there occasionally. When the owners took over this site from the previous tenant, they spruced up the interior, improved the menu and brought better service. We liked it, and found it comfortable and reasonable value. We went back last week (February 2016) and were very disappointed to find... More

Was looking to try a new spot in yorkville. Read the great reviews on here and was very disappointed. The waiter was very nice and treated us well. But the owner or manager that night was very rude with a serious attitude issue. Perhaps it's because the place is not doing well as it was pretty empty for a Saturday... More

I was at this restaurant and totally not impressed at all. I ordered my drink 3 times and never got it but was stilled charged, my food took so long to come that I was asked by the waiter, if I still wanted my food. When I got my food it wasn't that great, I ordered the steak and I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
