Went for the Winterlicious lunch with wine pairings. The food was great and the wine choices were excellent! Definitely a great spot for a romantic lunch or dinner outing - the view is amazing!

What a view of Toronto! Great atmosphere and excellent service. Always go for Winter & Summerlicious. Servers take the time to explain every dish and care that it is to your desires. I order the pasta, which is good, but not great. The meat dishes are great, starters really tasty & desserts fantastic. This place is about the experience &... More

I came here for an "early-bird" Winterlicious dinner with a friend. Unfortunately we picked a day when the weather was terrible outside so you could literally not see outside the window (no view). I ordered the squash soup to start, the beef tenderloin and the sticky toffee pudding. We also ordered a bottle of red wine. The service was great... More

My wife and I recently visited and enjoyed a dinner from their Winterlicious menu. It was a great chance to try out the restaurant at a reasonable fixed price menu. We also added some fresh oysters to compliment our appetizers. The food was great, service was personable and quick, but like most eateries the portion sizes could have been larger.... More

Someone said you could see the C.N. tower from here. I'm not sure what they were talking about. I didn't see it. Was hoping to get a Big Mac here, but alas there was no Big Mac on the menu. So I got a steak instead. The steak was too tender and flavourful, I could cut through it with my... More

Winterlicious Lunch Party of Three Always a great experience. Great View - despite the weather Friendly hostess. Attentive wait staff. What we ate: Appetizers: One order of the Heirloom Squash soup - enjoyed by guest Two orders of the Fogo Island Salt Cod Rillettes - beautifully presented. The cod with the roasted dulse mayo made for a delicious combination. The... More

First time to Canoe. We had heard great things about the restaurant. We were lucky to get a reservation for the Winterlicious menu. They are typically closed in Sundays but are open for the Winterlicious time. You get to order an appetizer, a main course and a dessert. There are 4 options in each course with a vegetarian option included... More

This flagship of the O&B culinary empire emphasise Canadian ingredients in its menu and Canadian wine in its cellar. A recent lunch featured maple cured salmon + fogo island crab, ontario arctic char and Cave Spring Riesling. The view from the 54th floor of the TD Centre is always wonderful and at sunset positively inspiring. One of Toronto's best restaurants

This has been my all-time favorite toronto restaurant of life!!! I literally ate everything, leaving behind only empty plates, the flavors were so rich and the artistry of the plating was so beautiful.. service was perfect too. For a restaurant that's not normally open on the weekends but decided to open its doors more for Winterlicious, I was very grateful... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
