The price has gone up over the years, but the Souvlaki is really awesome. Greek salad is always good. l did not see the grilled octopus on the menu but l remember it awesome when l had it there years ago.

5 of us at table, including a child. First time we were here, atmosphere was good, server excellent. I has lamb on a pita with fries, which was very well prepared.

Our family all went here and they accommodated us all without a reservation which was great of them. The service was good and the food was even better. Lots of room for family and on good days you can sit outside. We'll go back.

This is a nice portion four chops, salad and pita bread. Very tasty, and you can see the meal cook right away.

Astoria is the benchmark Greek restaurant on the Danny. Other restaurants come and go and some have fancier menus, but Astoria can serve a great souvlaki or village salad time after time after time. The price isn’t a bargain like back in the day but...More

Love the saganaki! It's amazing. They have the best tzatziki I have ever had. One of the few places left that treats service as a profession. Always a treasured visit when in the City.

What a lovely evening for dinner on the patio at Astoria! The service was very quick; the food was delicious; they had a children's menu; and I truly do think they have the best tatziki going, and the portion provided with my souvlaki was huge!

We have been here many times in past and enjoyed our experiences. Took out-of-province friends to what we thought was a reliable classic. Lovely night on the patio...good setting. However, we were extremely disappointed. Service was slow and inattentive. Food: lamb kebabs were chewy; pork...More

My girlfriend and I shared the Astoria’s Mix Grill with a greek salad for each of us. The salads were very good but probably could've included a few more olives to spice it up. The mix grill was a pretty good assortment of food but...More

relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection
of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets,

I would also recommend the Sheraton Hotel on Queen in front of city hall, Four Seasons, Intercontinental. Four Seasons and Intercontinental are on the Bloor Danforth line, so they would be a the closest of the three... More
