If you're an ice hockey fan, or a sports fan in general, this is the place for you. It's a pub / sports bar style of restaurant, with big screens all around showing the latest games, and a great display of legend Wayne Gretzky's hockey paraphernalia in showcases towards the back of the spacious dining area. It's located at 99... More

Came here a long time ago, probably 2015. Excited about going back in the near future because I remember this being one of my favourites in Toronto, had a wide choice on the menu.

I recently ate at Wayne Gretzky's Restaurant with a group of friends. The ambiance is of a fun sports bar with lots of memorabilia. Being a huge hockey fan, it brought back a lot of childhood memories! The food was excellent and quite reasonably priced. This is definitely a place to have a meal and experience Canadian hockey history.

You need to go for lunch or dinner and order the Breakaway Burger. It is the best burger in the city and goes down with the delicious french fries and a nice pint from their big selection. The staff is amazing and they are always playing the best sports and are open to putting on any sports so available that... More

I decided to try out Wayne Gretzky restaurant while in downtown Toronto as recommended by my friend who was with me. What a pleasant surprise . I am not a fan of sports bars but this was really different and very nice atmosphere. As a bonus, when we were there, Water Gretzky, Wayne's Dad was going around giving out personalized... More

when going to this establishment you're not only getting great food but a museum of sports memorabilia The selection on the menu is good and very reasonably priced. The only issue about the menu is the items are crowed on 2 pages and makes it harder for one to read. The staff is very helpful and friendly in suggesting food,... More

Ate there a lot! Good appetizers and burgers, but the ribs are fabulous. It's a sports bar and grill and you won't regret giving it a try!

We stopped in with reservation. Atmosphere was great! Lots of hockey paraphernalia, and was great for everyone from 5 years old to 75 ! Food was a little disappointing. Ordered a burger with a salad. Salad was tiny and nothing interesting at all. The burger was so dry.. overcooked for medium. No taste. Other people's food was ok. Nothing to... More

Description
Playing host to Wayne's personal collection of memorabilia, Wayne Gretzky's Toronto is in fact three places in one. The upscale dining room has a unique décor which highlights Wayne's greatest moments, where our guests can enjoy great food and great, friendly service. The winning sports bar boasts over 20 HDTV's showing all sports, all the time. The fabulous Oasis Rooftop Patio is as individual as the restaurant, and welcomes guests to relax under the sun and stars from May to October. We are only a block and a half north of the Dome, so we are the perfect spot before, during or after the game!

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
