Nice Irish pub in the downtown core. We stopped in for dinner on our way to the recent U2 Joshua Tree concert. The food was good, but the atmosphere was better! The place was filled with people heading to the show. The TV screens were...More

Went for dinner with colleagues at the Embassy Pub Grill. This was our first time at this restaurant. Being a vegetarian, I didn't have many choices on the menu so I decided for good old nachos. I understand that the Embassy if far from being...More

Go for the Guinness, and they have a good choice of bar food - chips with curry sauce a great share for 2 or 3 . Didn't think the wings were great , but I recommend the sausage and mash .

I had the "seasonal" pot pie which was beef and mushrooms which also came with a side of grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was very good, and I had great service.

In a space of 3 hours we ate, drank, watched British Lions rugby, baseball and had some live music as well. Something for everyone but it was strangely quiet for a Saturday night. The service is good and the range of food and drink should...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip
and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with
a strong student influence from the Ryerson University
Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of

The Irish Embassy takes great pride in its dedication to a centuries-old tradition of hospitality unique to the Emerald Isle. This magnificently restored heritage site - one of Toronto's first banks - is now home to an enchanting Old World ambiance and standard of personal service and cuisine echoing a commitment to excellence without rival. Conveniently located in the heart of Toronto's financial district, the Irish Embassy is extraordinarily flexible in its multi-purpose design. Not only a warm and inviting setting for the after-work crowd and personal dining, it is recognized as one of downtown's most dynamic venues for upscale cocktail receptions, social celebrations and corporate gatherings.
