We were there yesterday for a friend's bday. The food was delicious! I had the sea bass and it was cooked just right and seasoned perfectly. The main dishes took a little long coming but we assumed because we were a big group. The wait was worth it! Our server was so friendly and very helpful to accommodate our big... More

Across from the Sheraton Downtown Toronto Hotel, this restaurant was convenient for dining while attending a conference. Although it was almost full, we were accommodated without a reservation. Being someone with a small appetite, I was pleased to see portion options for the pasta dishes - after a delicious Caesar starter salad, the appetizer size pasta was big enough for... More

Good food with a basic offering which is really well done and affordable. Wine selection is reasonable. Pricing is decent for a downtown Toronto restaurant.

Outstanding menu, European flare, hands down best server Bill, all made the meal memorable!!! Having missed this little gem on my last trip, I was sure to stop in for a bite to try LA...so glad that we did! The menu was simple, yet brilliant, and our 'tour guide' through Italy, let us customize a couple of dishes and went... More

Very satisfying dinner for pasta lovers. Salads and pastas very good especially the carbonara. Good plates to share. As a dessert tiramisu must be everyone's favorite as it is mine. Also a good selection of wines by the glass... but the best things on the menu are the bacon wrapped dates and the caprese salad!!

We made reservations a few days ago. Wanted pasta dish for pre-marathon carb loading. We had to go early (17:00) due to lack of available tables at our preferred time. The table service was good, efficient and amiable. The olives appetizer was fair, especially after experiencing "real" olives in Spain and Portugal. The pasta plates were very tasty and full... Very nice food, even if portions are a little small. Wine selection is varied and reasonable priced. A few Ice wines are on the menu which was good to see. Gluten free pasta was available for one of us, which was welcome as it is generally not anticipated at restaurants. Service was what you expect, nothing more. Look at the... More

We chose this for dinner while staying at the Hilton Downtown and the menu was delightful - very nice selections and a full bar. Our waitress was great - nice atmosphere with a varied menu. Good value for the price.

This place was selected to have a "welcome to our tour" party by our travel agent. We had wine, beer and a variety of appetizers. Everything was delicious and the servers....all of them....were very attentive, friendly and efficient. Again if I were in Toronto again, this is where I'd try dinner.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
