Our salmon was excellent BUT I specifically requested that my the garlic be excluded from my side of vegetables and in fact there was garlic everywhere, despite no mention of it on the menu. It was overpowering and unnecessary. The waitress was very accommodating in attempting to remedy it but in the end I still came away regretting it.

Nicely located, good quality Italian restaurant. It was quite busy when I went but they offered me a place at the bar. Good menu and food was very good (I had the seabass). Mid-range prices, pleasant environment and good service

Little Anthony's was delightful. We took an out of town friend here for her birthday dinner. It was also our first time. We had heard great things. The restaurant was delightful. To start.....let's just go there. Hugo, our server, should be on the sign. He was kind, generous, professional, funny and truly to have with us during our dining experience.... More

Went here tonight with 3 other ladies. Got our table right away as we made a reservation. We had ballet tickets, so they knew we had a time constraint, and they stated they catered to this on a special menu. The 4 of us ordered our drinks, and appetizers/meals about 10 mins later. It took about 30 mins for our... More

We were there yesterday for a friend's bday. The food was delicious! I had the sea bass and it was cooked just right and seasoned perfectly. The main dishes took a little long coming but we assumed because we were a big group. The wait was worth it! Our server was so friendly and very helpful to accommodate our big... More

Across from the Sheraton Downtown Toronto Hotel, this restaurant was convenient for dining while attending a conference. Although it was almost full, we were accommodated without a reservation. Being someone with a small appetite, I was pleased to see portion options for the pasta dishes - after a delicious Caesar starter salad, the appetizer size pasta was big enough for... More

Good food with a basic offering which is really well done and affordable. Wine selection is reasonable. Pricing is decent for a downtown Toronto restaurant.

Outstanding menu, European flare, hands down best server Bill, all made the meal memorable!!! Having missed this little gem on my last trip, I was sure to stop in for a bite to try LA...so glad that we did! The menu was simple, yet brilliant, and our 'tour guide' through Italy, let us customize a couple of dishes and went... More

Very satisfying dinner for pasta lovers. Salads and pastas very good especially the carbonara. Good plates to share. As a dessert tiramisu must be everyone's favorite as it is mine. Also a good selection of wines by the glass... but the best things on the menu are the bacon wrapped dates and the caprese salad!!

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
