This well established Toronto restaurant is famous for its outstanding sushi. It has been my go to for Japanese Cuisine since the late eighties and has never disappointed!!! Time now for some Sukiaki; Japanese comfort food on a wintery night.

A celebratory dinner which we tried many different dishes. The Giant rolls were really great. Sexy calamari legs yummy. Hearts on a skewer love it. Tempura smelts...go for it. Sashimi was so good. And the ice creams.....three different flavor a between four of us...perfect. And the cost.....4 adults, sufficiently full, with a few drinks, saki, and ice cream....$120. I think... More

Service was pleasant and efficient. Food was very good. Sashimi and sushi was fresh with not to much rice. Will definitely return but think next time I will try the boil at the table menu. Seemed to be what was popular with the crowd.

I've been here a handful of times but I really don't come often enough! When I called to make a reservation, I asked about allergies and the menu. The girl on the phone was very sweet and helpful. The moment I walked in, Sayaka asked me if I was the one she spoke to on the phone as she guided... More

Private quiet place with great traditional Japanese food. The most popular dish are the soups (Sukiyaki or Shabu Shabu). They also have a 7 courses menu of a daily selection from the chef.

You really have to know about this restaurant, you can't just see it walking down funky Queen Street West. Located on the ground floor of the office building on St Patrick, just off Queen Street, it's very popular with local crowds. Lunches can get busy. They have lunch specials, most $9.50. My favourite is veggie and chicken tempura with rice,served... More

Recently moved to Toronto. Before I can cook at home, I went to this places multiple times for lunch and supper. The internal decorate is that of Japanese style. The chef and waiters are Japanese. The food is average. Nothing special. But the location and environment are nice. They have private room inside. Service is a bit slow but within... More

Before sitting down, look at the fake food on a small table at the entrance! Those displays portray the specials. It will help you decide what you want. If you do not know the Japanese names for foods, it makes things a *lot* easier! I dined with a regular, who works at the U.S. Consulate down the street. She told... More

We found this one get a lot of good reviews on Yelp, so we tried. The sashimi, BBQ, and noodle soup are all very tasty, and the service is quick and polite.
