I have been going to Ali's for years whenever I am in the area. The food is amazing. The roti...sood good. and they usually have pholourie which is delicious. All the treats are great too. Prices are good. If you are nearby, or looking for good West Indian food....go here, you won't be disappointed.

Looking for some spice? Ali's has some good heat. The roti was great, and lots of it. The staff was really above the call in helping us select food. Though I would say that their version of mild might be a little spicy for some.

Every time I'm in the 6ix, I must pay a few visits to Ali's Roti! By far, the best roti shop in Toronto. Always consistent, always busy and the food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend their buss up shot and peas and rice plates!!

Great Authentic Roti Shop. The Woman taking our order was delightful and sweet especially when we ordered extra food to take with us on the road as we aren't from Canada. FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUSSSS they can expect to see us everytime we visit downtown Toronto. We left with happy stomachs, smiles and leftovers for the road.👌🛤

The roti is soft, flaky and the curry is mouth watering good. The goat curry is my favorite dish with fall off the bone tenderness and rich and flavorful curry.

I have never had roti or West Indian food before and I came to this place with a friend from Trinidad. The food did not disappoint. The curried goat roti was so much food! Great value for the price. We also got doubles and saheena, both of which were delicious. Everything had great flavor and texture and I was very... More

Okay, first, the roti bread itself here is amazing. And it's huge. You could almost use it like a blanket except that you want to eat it. I ordered the chana (chickpeas) and it was really good. My friend ordered the spinach, however, and did not like it. There wasn't much spinach in there, but there were tons of onions.... More

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
