Lived up to its positive reviews. Small, tidy, charming, delicious fresh food and desserts presented beautifully. Blackberry mimosas to start our birthday brunch for five were an original treat. Coffee served and replenished in a French press was a nice touch. Service was very friendly...More

This place is amazing. I found it while searching around online so thought I'd give it a try. It's located on Bloor just west of Dufferin. On-street parking, nice little patio, and a bright orange extrerior. You can't go wrong. Inside, it's clean, bright, and...More

Wandered in off the street knowing nothing about the place and was overwhelmed with how great it was. There was unique Scandinavian foods, unlike any I've had in North America, that go well above a standard smoked salmon dish. Would highly recommend the salmon tartar...More

Coffees and teas are straightforward delicious, no fussiness here. Great sweets to go with your tea; clean and warm. A welcome change to the coffee chains on every corner. I wish them success.

I loved everything we ate: the cold buttermilk soup, shaved asparagus salad, herring sampler, lovely sponge cake with almond meringue. Beautifully presented and delicately composed while also complex and satisfying. Donna's skill and professionalism as our server are unmatched.

I went to Karelia once with my boyfriend because we were hungry and stopped in the first restaurant we saw, and I've never looked back. Karelia has an excellent prix fixe menu every time I've been there for dinner, and it's always delicious and a...More

Happened to find Karelia online after deciding to meet a friend in the area for brunch and we were very happy with what we found. The food was great, each of us (4 ppl) ordering different dishes. If you like freshly squeezed juice, i would...More
