So my friends and I have been coming to LaVinia a few years now and they have been delivering consistent fantastic service and delicious food. We had the crab croquettas, lamb shank, goat cheese with spinach and a few of the shrimp dishes. I’ve tried...More

Wonderful meal. Excellent service and seafood. Chef visits tables 👍. Salmon carpaccio is outstanding. Seafood stew had a luscious, rich broth. Can’t wait to go back to try the paella. Better than anywhere I dined in Barcelona.

we dined here with my family and had an assortment of appetizers: Croquetas, Albondigas (meatballs), Pulpo Gallego (Octopus), Tortilla de Patata, Seta (Mushrooms) and Gambas al ajillo (Shrimp). Followed by Paells. Everything was SPECTACULAR. Fernando (Owner/chef) came out to see us at our table. I...More

I almost hate to write this review because the place is so popular as it is, it's hard to get a table ;-). Tucked away at what used to be a fairly rundown part of Toronto West, there is a strip of restaurants that are...More

My wife and I are more or less pescetarian. We really enjoyed the vegetable paella and the featured salmon. The service was extraordinary, and the chef went around to every table to check in. Just a great experience overall.

I enjoyed it. A lot of the items were sort of authentic. The comfort factor wasn't here but I really did enjoy the flavours and atmosphere.

My cousin took my son and I to his friend's restaurant for dinner. Outside was -24 degrees and it was not surprising that the restaurant was almost empty. We were delightfully surprised! Everything served at this Authentic Italian restaurant was made right there at the...More

My wife and I recently came back from Barcelona and are “food” people. We like to hunt out restaurants that are delicious but not grossly overpriced. LaVinia’s was tasty, but for a 4 tapas meal for two with two drinks cost us $95 before tip....More

We keep coming back for the delicious tapas, paella and everything else on the menu. Be prepared to feel welcomed into this cosy restaurant by the owner Fernando.

They take reservations and I would recommend it in high season. They responded to my inquiries within couple hours. So call, e-mail and you get the response.
