I’ve been living in Canada for more than 20 years and always struggled to find a good Paella Valenciana. As simple as this dish may be, there are specific flavours one would crave for. I’ve tried other restaurants in Toronto, but nothing compared to the experience we had at La Vinia. From the quiet street, you notice a small restaurant... More

This is my second-time visit to this restaurant because I missed their seafood paella, and I have never been disappointed. They have the most authentic and delicate Spanish foods which are presented by warm and professional services. Although it is not spacious inside as the restaurant is small, the ambiance is really enjoyable and romantic with the enchanting Spanish music.... More

I live in Toronto so I usually only write reviews when I travel abroad. However, after experiencing an excellent dinner at LaVinia, I had to share what a wonderful restaurant this is. Not only is the service amazing, the food is delicious and the overall dining experience was something that I highly recommend.

Family run, quaint atmosphere and impeccable, friendly service. Tapas style with an abundance of Spanish inspired cuisine. Must order the white anchovies appetizer- an explosion of happiness in your mouth. Seafood Paella is amazing and unforgettable. Fernando the Chef is a delight to chat with as he came to our table twice and kept us laughing with stories from the... More

We had the most fantastic Spanish food i have had in Toronto. So authentic and delicious. Very small place so make sure you reserve and then sit back and enjoy the food and their own wine . The Garcia's are wonderful and really make you feel like one of the family.

tapas were great -- my wife doesn't like fish, yet loved the anchovy! the seafood paella was excellent they have food, and wine, which are off the menu, we asked and were very pleased with the choice the waiter made small and out of the way, but worth it

We enjoyed the entire experience at LaVinia--save for a horribly noisy party at an adjoining table: some people are soooo thoughtless. But the paellas we had were copious and inviting. My wife had the one with seafood and chicken (forget the name); mine was seafood all the way. I don't agree with a Malika, a previous reviewer, who described as... More

I went with my husband for a celebration. We were disappointed !! I ordres Paella. It was tasteless. My husband ordered fish of the day. The fish was swimming in a broth. It was extremely cold day, our table was close to the door and I was freezing every time somebody comes or leaves. Service was slow. I would say... More

The food was exquisite, the service was supreme and the ambiance was just perfect. When the chef came out to talk to our table I thought for sure I was in Europe for a moment. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Spanish food.
