We were strongly recommended by one of the shop keepers in Little Portugal and definitely it was as good as he said about Portuguese egg tarts.Haven't had such treat and as tasty for a long long time....We bought one dozen of them....

Visiting Toronto and just stopped off on College for a couple of latte's and sweet. Couldn't have been nicer. The staff are so nice, the coffee great and the coconut pastry out of this world.

A great place with great grilled cheese sandwiches. Have been going there for almost 9 years now and I have never been disappointed. Very fair prices for the delicious food. For $20 2 can have a great brunch with sandwiches, pastries and a hot/beverage. The staff is always nice and friendly. Strongly recommend it to anyone who wants a nice... More

Came in for a quick breakfast & couldn't be happier ☺ Food & service was very good. Have been coming here for many years. They also make amazing birthday cakes (been ordering them here for my kids for over 15yrs)

MMM. The custard Portuguese tarts I like are good, and they have one that has a base of chocolate then more chocolate drizzled on the top and sprinkled with icing sugar. They have a lot more, but that's what I wanted to try. I will try again as they have a display case filled with sweets and carry freshly-made breads.... More

The ladies working here are really lovely and helpful. I loved the toasted spinach croissant and mini nata. I wanted to try everything here!! I did not like the heart chocolate shaped pastry as it was tasteless. Anyways, either way I LOVE this place!

This place is a great little bakery to pick out a bunch of yummy Portuguese/ Italian pastries, have a hot drink, and sit outside and people-watch on the edge of Little Italy. The prices are cheap; the service is quick and attentive by young ladies. You can also order sandwiches, and/or eat inside and take advantage of the free WiFi... More

Admission: I come here a lot. I love the Portuguese custard tarts (the best in Little Italy) and their croissants (particularly the cheese ones). The other pastries, breads, and coffees are also exceptional. Friendly staff. Clean. Convenient. Thank you.

A little place to visit in Little Italy. Has good late evening Latte and some pastries too. The servers were younger and eager to help out with any selection you wanted to make during your visit. Ample supply of breads, tarts, small coffee cakes, and European pastries. Small tables and chairs with cozy seating areas to have a coffee and... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
