I was so impressed with our meal at The Good Fork, during a midweek city getaway. I had the Hummus Bowl with Halloumi and was impressed with the amount of flavour and how filling the bowl was! My boyfriend had the slow roasted brisket sandwich and the meat was wonderfully tender and delicious. I also had a latte and can... More

I’ve been here once before and the wait was an hour so we left. This time we showed up at 9am when they opened. The restaurant was empty, but it still took 50 mins for our food to arrive. The water glass had what looked like crumbs in it. The milk for the coffee had what looked like pepper floating... More

My friend and I decided to try this place after reading fave reviews, however our experience fell short of our expectations. We waited over an hour for a two-person table, and another 45 minutes for our food because the kitchen made a mistake on one of our orders - which the server did notify us of before the food arrived.... This place is worth the wait! And on weekends there's always a wait. At least you can put your name in the list and they text you when your table is ready. Bloor West Village is a great place to stroll while you wait for your table to be ready. Or the Humber River park area is fabulous. Fork Scram.... More

Most delicious lunch I've had in a long time. Would definitely go back! Lots of vegetarian options and very healthy food. They even offer take out. Would highly recommend this place!

Delicious food as long as you're willing to put up with being rushed through your meal by the server. It's hard to enjoy your meal when constantly being interrupted by staff asking if you're finished yet. I look forward to enjoying my Saturday mornings out with a friends, taking our time over breakfast, enjoying each other's company. There's laughter good... More

Great little spot for breakfast! Excellent food- organic. We both had the huevos! Wow! Service is a bit slow- And they don't take Credit cards- and no American cards of any type. So you need Canadian cash to pay!

I've been here a few times but the last time it seemed better than before. Maybe it was the service, no it was the service. There were six of us and the food as usual was very good but the attention we got from the server was great, even though the place was packed upstairs and down. The only thing... More

Best breakfast with a kick I had in a long time. You must try the huevos rancheros. The service was very friendly.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
