Great lattes, just like you get in Italy. And tasty tasty gelato. Always a reason to visit, no matter the season. Not a chain. The best neighbourhood coffee shop when doing the Bayview stroll.

Good gelato, fair service. The kids working there are usually chatting amongst themselves and look/act like they are doing you a favour by serving you. They need to hire staff and good as their gelato.

Visited this place several times. They have various flavours available and we can ask for a tasting spoon if we are not sure (I know, decision, decision, decision). Everyone there were very nice and helpful. They have some tables if you want to eat there, inside or outside. Highly recommended!

There are so many great flavors to choose: delicious rich fruit flavors like Mango and Wild Berries. Rich chocolate and vanilla flavors too. I had to order a Large. And it is LARGE with 4 flavors. One of my favorites is the Coconut Cream also Tahitian Vanilla. When we arrived around 9 pm on a warm summer night, there was... More

Although in my view not quite up to the standard set by Greg's or Il Gelatiere, Hollywood Gelato serves very, very good gelato. It's a popular place, and service tends to be on the slow side, but there's nothing wrong with their product. I particularly like the cappucino gelato.

Fantastic gelato. The best in Toronto and probably most other cities. There is usually a line, which attests to the popularity of this spot, but it moves relatively quickly. The gelato is very flavourful. Our favourites are key lime pie, pear and coconut cream pie. With the pear, you will swear you are eating a real pear. A medium 3-scoop... More

Worth waiting for if there is a line-up. Many flavours. Great for kids. The store is small but they have a patio.

The gelato is superb and they have a multitude of flavors. The strawberry and creme caramel combo (one scoop of each) was really good. You can get the kiddy size which gives you a good scoop. A large is simply too much (maybe 😊 ). Not cheap though. The small cup is 5.50.

Staying in East York

Neighbourhood Profile
East York
East York includes a portion of old, industrial Toronto. Densely populated but incredibly safe, it boasts some of the city's earliest gardens and gardening clubs, attracting green thumbs everywhere. The tranquility of the Don Valley River area, which is rich with Toronto's oldest and tallest forests, is supplemented by the large ensemble of authentic and refurbished Edwardian homes, giving parts of East York allure. The other draw is for foodies: lovers of Bangladeshi fare will find authentic restaurants and markets in the area, with raw spices and desserts. East York also represents a lot of Toronto's Serbian food culture, and recently, has had an outcropping of solid microbrewery stops. For families, the science center is a favored weekend stop.
