We found this place while wandering around Kensington Market. We saw they had BBQ pork buns, one of my favourite things! We went in to get some. They were so cheap! We spent less then $5 and were stuffed! Definitely worth the trip!

This is my go-to bakery in Toronto for buns and sweets. Not only do they have any bun you could want, they also have a lovely assortment of delicious cakes and cookies! The prices are incredibly affordable as well. You can easily get lunch for 2, plus drinks and dessert, for 10 dollars or less. Definitely stop by if you're... More

BBQ pork, vegetable, regular pork baos are the standards. The reason able prices are what keeps customers coming back. Sticky rice, egg custard tarts, red bean containing desserts are as I remember them from Hong Kong and dim sum restaurants in Hong Kong. Their first attempts into Western foods are not as successful. I find their spinach and other pies... More

The food here is amazing, so much variety and everything we tried was wonderful. The only negative is that they don't take cards, so you have to bring cash. Also, know that if you only bring USD, you get a terrible exchange rate, as they charge a huge extra fee. If you're going, be sure to bring Canadian cash.

I LOVE This bakery :) It makes me so happy. My boyfriend loves BBQ pork buns and getting him to eat chinese food, is a BIG PLUS! 3 got $1 on most buns other pastries are $0.60 or 6 for $3. Sometimes you should check in the front she has pre-packaged (assorted) buns that are a bit cheaper, and just... More

Was value for money before the prices increased. Quality-wise, questionable. Keep an eye on them as they bag your orders as you may end up getting some stuff you chose substituted by like items but probably close to expiry placed beneath the counter beyond your sight. I have had my swiss rolls substituted 3 times. The first time I thought... More

We happened upon this bakery while walking down Spadina Ave. What a great find! Just like a previous reviewer raved, it is the best Chinese bakery, not just in Toronto, as long as you are there for the food, not the ambience. It is bright and cheery. But there isn't much room to sit. There is a very wide selection... More

Almost walked away with the store. Everything presented well. The softest breads I've ever had, large variety of breads, pasteries for all tastes. This now one of my favorites!

Affordable and delicious. They have the cheapest vegetable spring roll. There are a couple of ladies when I was there and one spoke English the other spoke only a little English so I had to repeat myself. I like the mocha cake roll and the coconut bun. You could tell it's fresh so you know it's not leftovers plus there's... More
