This uber casual restaurant makes excellent Pide with fresh ingredients. An excellent healthier alternative to pizza. A friend introduced this place to us a couple of years ago and we keep going back - mostly for take out and kids parties. Mr. Pide doesn't disappoint.

Authentic Turkish place. Good meal and good service. The pizza is tasty and the guys recommended their hit with assorted meats. I was enjoying.

A Turkish friend took us there with some friends and I tried really good food at very good price. We went to dinner and I tried a kasarly and some of my friend's etli ekmek. The plate is like 9 dollars and there're very big. Autentic Turkish food and sodas.

Tried two pides: Turkish sausage and Feta/Spinach. Both were great, especially with the feta substituting the heavier mozzarella. Dough was light and fresh, garnished with tomato wedges, onion halves, parsley and garlic dip. Enjoyed overall presentation and value of dishes, friendly staff as well. If only pides were more accessible throughout the city, I probably would not be going back... More

If you want a unique twist on pizza - this is it. Most of the meats are on the spicy side - so be forewarned. Each pizza comes with a dipping sauce, tomatoes, onions, hot pickled pepper and parsley. We got several for a party and everyone liked all the choices. The signature pide seems to be the most popular.... More

I don't know the name of this food but it looks like pizza, so me and my friends say this is Turkish Pizza. Lol. It's delicious and really big. The price is fair for the size of it.

In Greek town, we were delighted to find a Turkish restaurant. We ate a delicious generous sized lahmacun (kind of Turkish pizza made of meat and a magical taste of spices), and lamb and mozzarella pizza, and feta pizza. Everything was so delicious, in a simple yet charming environment. They serve traditional Turkish coffee and Turkish tea. The waitress was... More

We were visiting from Winnipeg, MB and my son took us for a Pide. We never had one before, but he loves them. We ordered a couple of flavours and they were light and delicious. We asked if there was a similar place in Wpg, but the owner did not know. Wish we could have returned another time to the restaurant... More

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
