We just stumbled across this place but wow, am I glad we did. The wait staff were beautiful, the Bay St eaters were beautiful and, most importantly, our food was beautiful. Both the falafel sandwich and fried chicken sandwich were 10 out of 10. Also,...More

As a former Bay Street lawyer, I used to come here weekly for lunch or breakfast with clients or colleagues. The vibe is casual, but the food is very good and it comes out quickly. For an expensive area, your meal and drinks will not...More

Really enjoyed a lunch with a colleague. Had the grilled cheese and it was perfect. Service was good. Looking forward to coming back to try more items. Wish this restaurant was open on the weekend.

An old fashioned restaurant on Bay Street that offers very authentic, hearty, yet interesting dishes. Had a business breakfast - home made granola with greek yogurt and fruit compote, which was very good. My colleague had the egg and cheese sandwich was equally fine. Prices...More

Excellent traditional bistro in the financial district but also a short stroll to the theatres. Focus on home style classics. Limited menu with daily fish specials. Can be loud and jostling but lots of energy. Very busy but staff had things well under control. Everything...More

Definitely get the Tuesday special Fried Chicken, which comes with a small portion of mac and cheese so you get to try one of their signature dishes. We also got the chicken pot pie and all in all this was a very satisfying meal. This...More

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The food was good from beginning to end with appetizer and finishing off with dessert. I had heard a lot about The Gabardine and especially for their mac and cheese (and chicken pot pies as...More

The place is small, the menu is small and the beer & wine list is small. Prices are not. The food is always good and fairly eclectic with largish portions. The patrons appear to be hipsters with very few bay street types. It was almost...More

Comfortable, cozy restaurant, with wholesome hearty food. Service is good, waiter friendly and helpful. A little loud with the music turned high. The fish tacos were so tasty and the mac and cheese with ham was very delicious - creamy and tasty.

A neighbourhood joint in the heart of the financial district. The Gabardine’s Chef Graham Pratt and his crew cook up a storm of classic dishes inspired by good old fashioned home cooking. Hearty comfort food with plenty of love (& just a hint of butter) pair up perfectly with our delicious selection of boozy cocktails, Canadian craft beer & an ever changing wine list full of gems from Ontario & beyond. It’s a cozy, boisterous room with a little old world charm. Good friends, good drink & good food. We can’t wait to feed you!
