Back again with teenagers in tow. Had amazing lamb shank in phyllo pastry with spinach and goat cheese all baked together. The salad was a perfect foil. The giant lima bean bake was vegan and gluten free and delicious.

Just one question. Why no taramosalata in the appetizers? Very authentic/typical in Greek restaurants.

Greek cuisine is my favourite (I fell in love with Greece when I visited). Have been multiple times. Favourites: Saganaki, Grilled Calimari, Grilled Mediterranean Sea Bass, Seared Scallops, Moussaka and Braised Lamb Shank (my absolute favourite).

I decided to book this restaurant for a New Years eve with my other half. The atmosphere was exacted what I had hoped for, sophisticated yet relaxing. The staff who took care of us for the evening were friendly throughout. The meal was potentially my best in Toronto yet and when I told the staff that my partner shared the... More

Very classy and wonderful experience. We went as part of Winterlicious 2017 and the food and service were excellent! Loved the ambiance and my meal was delicious. I had the grilled octopus, the lamb shank and the flourless chocolate cake. I am not a big fan of feta and they were able to accommodate me sans cheese. Overall made for... More

Visited this Greek Restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. Staff all very attentive & informative re menu choices. Excellent food..high quality produce cooked to perfection. Our party had Meatballs, Calamari & Feta cheese as starters and Rack of Lamb & Lamb Shank as main courses. All courses excellent & highly recommeded.

I am a huge fan of Greek food and this place is excellent. It was my favorite restaurant in Toronto. The service is good, the place is expensive but the quality is high. The menu is creative. Our service was also very good. I have literally nothing bad to say about this place.

We came here on an evening with a heavy theater crowd. Despite that fact our table was ready on-time. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She knew her wines and provided several good suggestions. We ordered the Winterlicious specials and were amazed at how delicious everything tasted. Choices included Cornish hen, lamb and salmon. We ordered one of each,... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
