My husband had been wanting to try Volos for sometime now, so I decided to book well in advance reservations for his Birthday. We have tried to visit this restaurant before, but with such great reviews, you can only imagine trying to get a last...minute reservation. We had reservations right for 5pm when the restaurant opens. I was assuming the restaurant would have been packed but our visit to this restaurant was unfortunately during the beginning of the covid-19 chaos, so there really wasn't alot of people around or in the restaurant. We were greeted very kindly by someone at the front and seated promptly. The starters we ordered was a chicken soup, a flamed cheese, and octopus. The Octopus starter was fantastic!!! I couldn't get enough of it! It was honestly cooked to perfection. The cheese.... Who doesn't love cheese. The way the waiter glazed it on fire was definitely a wow moment! The soup was okay. I love soup so I think my expectations of soup is very high. I wish it was more creamier. I ordered the Lamb Shank with mash and my husband ordered a Seafood Stew. Both meals were absolutely delicious. We love the flavors of Greek food! Volos did not disappoint with the starter or the main. We didn't end up ordering desserts as I really didn't see much of what I would like. I wish there was more options. That being said their dessert drink menu is extensive. If you love dessert wines or cappachinos they have it all! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! I do hope to visit during a time where we aren't so self conscious of social distancing. It truly messes with the interaction between you the waiter and your food. My husband and I love knowing about new dishes and if they offer farm to table or specials. All in all we had a great time and hopefully will be back soon!More

A very good Greek option. Started with the arugula salad which was nice, the arugula had a good, not bitter, flavor but could have done with more walnuts and fruit. Followed that with the meatballs, which was probably the highlight of the meal. Fantastic taste...and texture. Then had the much acclaimed sea bass, I chose the fillet option, it was very good and I enjoyed the asparagus that came with it. Overall a very good meal.More

Winterlicious menu a wonderful delight! We were pleasantly surprised when the hostess asked if we were there for the debut of the Winterlicious menu. We were seated near the kitchen and were entertained by the flames as the dishes were prepared. The staff were very...attentive and the food superb!More

My boss took me and my daughter out for a retirement lunch here. Service was very good. The food was excellent. I had the stuffed Cornish hen which was tasty and tender. My daughter had the same and my boss had the seafood kritharoto which...he really enjoyed. All in all it was a great lunch and we are sure to go back..More

My partner and I had dinner at this nice restaurant. It was our second visit here. During our first visit I was really enthusiastic and I enjoyed my dinner very much, so I was curious if it would be the same after one and a...half year. And it was! I ordered the same dishes like during our first visit and I wasn´t disappointed. I had Avgolemono - chicken soup with a lemon flavor, wild pacific salmon and as a dessert Ouzo chocolate mousse. It was really nice dinner again. Service was quick. Perhaps, our waiter was sometimes a bit unformal, which I found somewhat unsuitable for this type of restaurant, but still he did a great job. Highly recommend.More

We had dinner at VOLOS and will return! The Mediterranean Sea Bass was delicious, the grilled octopus was sumptuous, the stuffed grape leaves were great and the swordfish with mussels was the best swordfish I have ever tasted.

I enjoyed my lunch so much in early December, I returned a week later for a second. Be sure to try the saganaki and spinach pie.

Four of us were looking for some great Greek food, and VOLOS didn't let us down. One of the four of us thought that her scallops might be the best she has ever had. Katie, our server did an excellent job. We will most certainly...return.More

Nothing written but I would not go in with flip flops. Jeans and casual clothes are fine.
