Busy restaurant - Baba Ganoush and Hummus v tasty but I felt the mains let the food down - meat was overcooked and underseasoned. Great Garlic sauce and desserts. Music was also way to loud - almost had to shout to be heard across a table! Service was good.

I really enjoyed having lunch at this restaurant ! My falafels were freshly made, the steaming hot pitas came puffed up straight from the oven to my table. The service was very efficient and friendly. I capped everything off with a delicious pistachio dessert freshly made. The price is right too for healthy tasty food!

My dad ordered the mix shawarma platter of chicken and beef and they were both dry, it came with a giant pile of dry rice and then in the corner of the plate a teensy tiny handful of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and two slices of radish and pickles. He had to order two extra sides of tahini to... More

We have just had to walk out of Paramount due to being ignored by multiple staff. The restaurant was not very busy but the staff simply ignored us. Why have a 'wait here to be seated' sign if no one wants to seat us.

Big space, clean and the quickest service I could ever have imagined. Food came in minutes after ordering. Tasty and fresh - did not feel like it had been sitting around for a long time... but the idea of shawarma is that it is pre-cooked. Had chicken on a salad - wonderful unique taste salad dressing. I really liked the... More

Food is good, not centered in customer service as orders are taken and paid for ahead of time (but friendly otherwise). Great for little kids as there is a playground for them and they love it which makes dinning easy for the parents. We like the BBQ platters and shwarma hummus dips. The bread they bring out is fun and... More

Enjoyed a great family occasion at the Don Mills Road restaurant last night. The food was excellent with a wide choice for all of our party. Staff were helpful friendly and efficient and the dining area spacious and well laid out

This was my first visit to this chain and this location. On the plus side, we were seated quickly. However, they sat us at a table next to a column. There wasn't even enough room for me to sit. We switched tables, as did the next three couples they plunked there. The pita bread was large and warm. No complaints... More

I really enjoy this location. They have some nice new items such as the Saj wrap. Our server Hassan was professional, attentive and courteous. In fact the food and how welcome Hassan made us feel means I will definitely return.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
