I recently took a friend to Le Papillon Park to celebrate his birthday and we both loved it here! As it was during the Christmas season the restaurant was beautifully decorated and there were a lot of holiday parties going on while we were there....More

Coq-au-vin was flavourless and dry, with hardly any sauce. The chicken seemed to be cooked separate from the vin and then the two were put together. Overpriced for two drumsticks and a thigh worth $2. You're better off picking up a rotisserie chicken at the...More

So we went to the Papillon in October. The ambiance is beautiful and we immediately were comfortable in our surroundings. My hubby and I each ordered the steak frites prix fix meal, my other friend ordered the chicken crepe and her hubby ordered the steak...More

I am aware that the culture of this restaurant is to enjoy the atmosphere and it is not a rushed experience, however it is poor service to wait almost 10 minutes after sitting down for a waiter to recognize your presence. It is also poor...More

This is a consistently good restaurant - reliable at all seasons. We often take guests there and have never been disappointed. Service is friendly and good. They are supporters of the adjacent farmer's market, across the street and host an annual fundraiser - Souper Bowl,...More

I have been going pass this area for years and never noticed the restaurant nestled in a collection of greenery. Free parking a bonus, artsy with local art in this creperie, narrow yet attractive entrance with a bar at the front, great patio upstairs during...More

A group of six friends - all foodies -meeting for a casual brunch. Good Bloody Caesars to start and very eye-appealing Assiette du Boucheron; ham, bacon, sausage, scrambled, gorgeous strawberry jam (a big "oink") and a terrific waitress named Aja who had a twinkle in...More

My friend chose the restaurant for dinner: Le Papillon Park on Eastern Ave near Carlaw. Parking is adjacent, plentiful and free. The restaurant is large and pleasantly decorated. It is quite long, and with windows all along one long side it is quite light and...More

I was here with a teacher friend to discuss school and catch up. We appreciated that we were not in the least bit rushed by an attentive, friendly waiter. Brunch was delicious and filling. Not a cheap option, but relaxed and pleasant. Close to the...More

Bird droppings on the napkin on the outdoor terrace table we were seated at. Gritty, dirty table. Requested new napkin and table wipe. Ordered lamb rare (a $35 plate). It arrived (after a 45 minute wait) well done. Sent it back. Was told it would...More

East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that
team up to make this district one of the most
multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT
community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or
night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its
thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more
relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection
of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets,

Le Papillon on the Park is Toronto's original neighbourhood French restaurant est. 1974. This latest location reminds guests of a Montreal bistro. The food is authentic French-Canadian accented with French classics. There is much attention to detail in the service and the atmosphere is elegant but laid-back. We are a unique place in the city. A large restaurant hidden in a park one block south of Queen St East, right by the water before the Beach. We serve delicious cocktails, whiskeys and beers upstairs on our tree-lined rooftop patio lounge.
