This restaurant has outstanding service. The quality of care is next level. I had an amazing experience and recommend this restaurant for small events or simply a dinner for two. 5/5!

An Italian restaurant that makes you feel like you are in Rome. Steep prices with flawless service. Long wine list and even more off list. Try the cheese tortolini.

Had dinner here on a special wedding anniversary. Have rarely had the level of service and care experienced here. The chef came out to greet us after the meal. We will certainly be back and have already recommended Toca to several friends.

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton and enjoyed breakfast at Toca. The staff was incredible and very attentive. The selection was fresh, tasty and very well presented. The ambiance is wonderful and I will come back again just for breakfast. We will return!!!

Stayed at the Ritz and wanted a quick dinner before a event at the Roger's centre, so we tried the restaurant at the hotel. It was AMAZING in all ways, Service a 10, food a 10, and portions just right! You cannot go wrong. Would return! Our son had pasta, I had the Halibut, and also the Lobster. It was... More

My in-laws were staying at the Ritz, so we decided to have dinner at Toca. My mother in law got the ravioli (which was basically a block of cheese covered with a soggy piece of pasta). My husband ordered the $20 appetizer portion of gnocchi and said it was average at best. I had the pork chop, but because of... More

Dear Nikkers123 Thank you for your kind comments regarding breakfast at TOCA. We are very sorry to hear that you did not equally enjoy your experience over dinner. The pork chop is indeed delicious with its crust and given your allergy, the waiter could have offfered to replace the crust by another element. Concerning the Ravioli Caprese they are one... More

We are at the restaurant mid week and were able to get a table with no difficulty. We each had caprese (lobster, mozzarella, tomato and tomato gazpacho), filet mignon (served with wilted spinach, pine nuts and sultanas; market veg and roast potatoes on the side) and chocolate mousse. We had some beer and wine too. The foot was delicious and... More

My family took me to Toca for my birthday. One of the best Sunday Brunch buffets that I have been to. The unlimited mimosas and bloody ceases was a really nice touch. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the fresh seafood which included lobster tails, mussels, shrimp and oysters. Service was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly.... More

I absolutely love the feel and look of this restaurant. We came here for lunch. My company and I split the crab sandwich which was absolutely delicious. You can really taste how fresh the crab is. Then both of us ordered the cheese ravioli. I have to say we both were not really impressed with the dish. The sauce was... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
