Stopped in on a blustery Sunday afternoon. Had the Corn Chowder soup; my partner had the Butternut Squash soup. Both were excellent in taste and texture, with enough for a second helping at home. Quick service.

Stopped in for a late lunch take-out. I had the chicken soup with lemongrass, noodles and coconut milk, my husband had a lamb curry wrap. We are still missing it. Actually drove by the next morning to see if they were open on our way out of town. There was a cute seating area to the rear of the restaurant,... More

It was a cold rainy fall afternoon - soup weather. This place is usually jam packed as it is small but off peak I went in and had a 'mushroom wild rice with truffle oil' soup - a little pretentious I thought. Oh my god it was crazy good. Pair it with a delicious healthy spinach slaw for just over... More

We were looking for something light, Ravi soup hit the spot. Tasty, filling, good value and great seating option including outside courtyard. We had corn chowder and porcini mushroom soup and shared a lam curry wrap, yum!

I passed by Ravi's a few times before going in on a colleague's recommendation. Nothing to look at from the outside but serves good soup. I had curried apricot and lentil. Really tasty with a little bite to it. Served with bread on the side for around $9. I bought some banana bread but didn't manage to get it in... More

Yummy food... Be prepared for plenty of spice (the good kind). Nice combo options. The stew was excellent and the lamb wrap had amazing flavor. Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating past the initial counter area.

Came for a late lunch and ordered a combo lamb curry wrap with corn soup. Service was quick and the meal was was very tasty. Dining area had a long solid timber table about 12ft long and also tables out the back. A nice setting and would dine here again.

Great soup, friendly service, and a nice terrace in the back. Reasonable pricing, 11-12 CAD for the soup, bread included.

I was walking around town by myself looking for a good place to eat but not fancy. This place was excellent. The chicken was very good and the soup was outstanding. The thing that made the food so exceptional was that it was fresh and homemade. the next time in town, I'll be back.

We went to this place by coincidence after a long day of apartment hunting, we were starving and it was the first we bumped into. It was a great surprise, not your typical Indian resto, it is a wrap sandwich/soup joint and it is not that big. The big surprise came as the wraps we ordered. I ordered the Steak... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
