We went right before Christmas and it was a birthday family dinner. We shared the big plate and it was a building experiences sharing the food from the same plate and sharing feeling and opinions not just on the food. Absolutely an experience to try with people you love.

Such amazing Ethiopian food here! The staff were super friendly, it was a cozy atmosphere and I loved the meat and veggie platter! It was too much food so we had to bring it home and they gave us more injera for free! You have to try the coffee ceremony if you haven't already!

African food. Ethiopian food I have never had. It was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and took us on a great culinary journey. My family enjoyed everything this marvelous establishment had to offer.

It was my first time eating Ethiopian food and I loved it here! The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing! I loved the beef sambusa, meat and veggie platter, and the Doro Wat (Chicken Stew)! I'd definitely come back!

This is our third Ethiopian Restaurant we've been to in Toronto, and probably our third favourite! The food was comparable, but a bit more expensive and smaller portions (some people will still find the dinner for two quite large - it's just smaller than others we've had)! All in all, quite tasty, VERY friendly staff and OK atmosphere. Thanks! :)

No pics because most of the cuisine looks the same - the fact is the food is delicious!!! And even more so, the hospitality was wonderful. We felt like we were invited into someone's Ethiopian's home and treated like family!!! The food was so fresh and quality so high and they even had Tusk Ethiopian beer!!! GO THERE AND HAVE... More

I found this restaurant by walking past it on a Saturday, and dropped in for lunch. The decor is Ethiopian, the staff are friendly and the food is very tasty. Especially for non-meat-eaters like me, Ethiopian food is a real treat! If I lived in Toronto, I would come back regularly.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
