We finally made it to Chinatown. Quite larger than expected. There were a very interesting mix of people, with quite a number of tourists. By the time we walked up there, I was hungry again, since I just had a salad and some fries at the CN Tower. Found Lee's while wandering around Chinatown AC felt good when we walked... More

Came here for dinner whilst in Toronto under recommendation from the hotel staff. Restaurant was very lively and busy when we entered but were sat at a table straight away by friendly staff. Orders were taken very quickly and drinks came quickly also. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, grandfather's smoked chicken and vegetable chow mien to share between... More

My wife and I took two friends to this restaurant on a Tuesday evening. We were warned about large portions and they are, but also wonderful food. We started with spring rolls, larger than usual, greet taste with different seasoning. Had a medium bowl of Won Ton Soup, was ample for 4, is really shrimp won tons. For main mean... More

I have been a fan of Lee Garden for many years on my 3-4 visits/year to Toronto. It is always crowded but worth the 10-20 minute wait for a table. The southern China dishes are uniformly very good and the selection of dishes very broad.

Of the few Chinese restaurants I'd been in Toronto, this comes to me as the best. The lady who served us was extraordinarily friendly amd helpful. Our orders came in timely. Portions were good and tastes were...yum, yum! Both the soup and red bean desert were on the house. It was quite a surprise when the bill came! Affordable indeed... More

Lee Garden offers reliable and excellent foods at reasonable prices. This restaurant is crowded at dinner time, especially on the weekend. But the food quality is worth the wait.

The food was plentiful although not the best. The meat a little chewy and slightly greasy. Everything was too rushed with my main course arriving before my soup. A disappointing evening overall.

- rated as #1 for Chinese food in Toronto, did not disappoint - authentic and very tasty food - wait was quite long, service was fairly slow - portion size is really big, so order accordingly - daily specials are worth trying, very interesting

Chinatown
Toronto's main Chinatown has the honor of being the largest in North America. Gaping down across Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue, the area is a wonderful medley of shops and restaurants, busy signs and bright red gates, a destination for foodie fun. Chinatown's streets are always bustling, packed with people and outdoor stalls hawking fresh produce and products. The restaurants and authentic marketplaces that shoulder in against each other display shining roast ducks and menus studded with dumplings and noodle bowls. The air is pervaded with music. different languages, and the smell of fried food and mouth-watering desserts. Chinatown's restaurants represent a broad range of fare, from traditional Szechuan and Shanghai foods, to other Asian delicacies, including some of the top Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean spots in the city.
