Every single dish wonderful on my many visits over the years. Found this place in my new neighbourhood after craving dosas after coming back from several months in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Every meat and vegetable dish bursting with flavour, every bread and rice dish distinct, all side dishes great, too. Service can be slow by totally worth it. In... More

The Indian population in major North American cities have now reached such a level that new restaurants are opening up which offer people the chance to experience cuisines from different regions of India and not just the 'tikka masala' , 'naan', 'biryani' and other north Indian stuff that usually goes by the name of 'Indian food' in the west. Madras... More

Decent food that taste good served in generous portions. We ordered Mushrooms with green peas, kottu roti and chicken along with nice bread. The breads were my favourite. Service is adequate but not great. Will visit again

This restaurant specializes in dosas - large roti-like wraps with your chosen filling (e.g., potatoes) cooked into the wrap. It is served with a variety of dips, each with its own appeal. Of course, they have some of the usual Indian dishes such as biryani rice but the dosa is definitely worth trying. Service is prompt and helpful. Food is... More

Visited this place with friends recently. Made a reservation for the patio seating and when we arrive 5 minutes before the reserved time, the patio was filled up. Had to wait another 10-15 mins before they hurriedly got a patio area on the other side ready. But when we sat there were 2 different tables placed together one is square... More

Delicious, authentic dosa. However, the place is so small and the building not well maintained, that it's not a place in which you want to linger.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
