Usually a good pub with good food. Went in, sat down, waited ten minutes and nobody came to serve us. Got up to leave and Staff watched us walk out the door.

Pretty decent bar. Good location due to its proximity to the downtown core and theatre. It is located in the queen's hotel, if you miss the large iconic sign out front. Food has never disappointed us, and they serve black swan's road trip, which is...More
We went on a Friday for the buffet but I am glad we checked it out before eating. It was quite small and the selection looked cheap and poor quality.
It is no surprise that the Boar's Head is a favourite of the local residents of Stratford. The kitchen is the same as the one enjoyed buy guests of the up-scale Queen's Inn. Foo quality is wonderful, fresh ingredient based and prepared to order..No warming...More
An unpretentious and fun place. They have entertainment at the week end, but there's always something going on.(Dart night, wing night etc). The bar itself is rather small...likely about 7 or 8 stools at the most...and it is cluttered with beer taps...but there is ample...More
We eat here often when in Stratford. We especially like the salmon salad, and I'm very fond of the sticky toffee pudding, as good as we had in Scotland. This is a reliable pub for lunch or dinner.

After our matinee, we had picked here for our supper. This time around we sat outside as it was a picture perfect evening. We had to try the deep fried pickles along with our dinners. Decent enough app. My wife went with the downsized serving...More
Good beer and mediocre food. It's pub grub nothing more so don't get your hopes up. Wings are kind of the highlight which I would give a 6 out of 10.
