Keystone Alley could teach a thing or two to the restaurants in Detroit. When I’m told that a restaurant takes food allergies seriously KA means it. Food was delicious, although the Kale Brussel Sprout salad could have had more Brussels sprouts!!! Red lentil soup was...More

Went there for dinner after a show. Everything about this restaurant was tops, the seating in the "alley", the service, the food, the ambiance.

We are locals and regulars. The duck liver mousse, the brussel sprouts, the hippie Bowl, any of their beef dishes,... We are gluten-free and they accommodate beautifully. So good! We are always thrilled to go to Keystone.

Harder than expected to get creative vegetarian fare here. My Caesar salad without bacon and with alternate dressing was romaine lettuce with paremesan: Boring. However, heirloom tomatoes and red lentil soup were tasty. Seating was too crowded and sterile near front of restaurant where we...More

The menu had very limited vegeterian dinner selections, but when my wife asked if the chef could create a meal based on the barley risotto, the results were beautiful and delicious! We would definitely return to Keystone Alley the next time we're in Stratford. The...More

Delicious lunch pre-theatre. Had the shredded kale-brussels sprout salad which was quite substantial. My husband really enjoyed the bbq pork sandwich special. Patio is covered and cool, even on a hot day. Prompt service.

Great food options made with fresh ingredients - mussels, caesar salad, noodle bowl, cheese cake - all delicious! Good wine/beer list. Service excellent although the restaurant was very busy. Nicely decorated/ambience. Would definitely eat here again!

Came on a theatre night and we had reservations. The wait staff were very friendly and prompt. The food was just ok for us. We had the ploughman's platter to start and the description on the menu isn't totally descriptive of what you get. The...More

Yes there is a lovely covered patio in the alley beside the restaurant. One of the nicest in Stratford. Quiet, picturesque and quite intimate. Enjoy!

For three decades The Keystone Alley Café has continually evolved, from its start as a small coffee shop into the popular casual fine dining restaurant that you see today. The Keystone Alley Cafe was named after the well-known Keystone Bakery located on these premises earlier. The 'alley' in the current name describes the area adjacent to the restaurant used for patio dining in the summer months. The Keystone Alley Cafe strives to provide a family style menu of fresh, bold flavoured foods, while supporting locally and sustainably. Over the years, many improvements have been made, including the addition of the "Key'd Inn", a spacious two bedroom suite rental situated above the restaurant.
