Went there for dinner after a show. Everything about this restaurant was tops, the seating in the "alley", the service, the food, the ambiance.

It's pretty small and the decor is pleasant but not really unique in any way. But hey, you go to a restaurant (mostly) for the food anyway (unless you're the Hard Rock Cafe, Sultan's Tent or some "experiential" resto). Anyway, the service was good, too...More

The service was efficient and pleasant. The food was good but not exciting. The chicken with cider I would have thought would have more 'apple cider reduction' taste. It was a good portion of food. The beef stroganoff did not taste like what my partner...More

Had dinner here before the "Rocky Horror" show. My wife and I chose the braised beef which was excellent. Generous serving on mashed potato with a few vegetables. Place filled up fast and got quite noisy. Limited choices on the menu, but other reviews praised...More

Yes there is a lovely covered patio in the alley beside the restaurant. One of the nicest in Stratford. Quiet, picturesque and quite intimate. Enjoy!

Description
For three decades The Keystone Alley Café has continually evolved, from its start as a small coffee shop into the popular casual fine dining restaurant that you see today. The Keystone Alley Cafe was named after the well-known Keystone Bakery located on these premises earlier. The 'alley' in the current name describes the area adjacent to the restaurant used for patio dining in the summer months. The Keystone Alley Cafe strives to provide a family style menu of fresh, bold flavoured foods, while supporting locally and sustainably. Over the years, many improvements have been made, including the addition of the "Key'd Inn", a spacious two bedroom suite rental situated above the restaurant.
