Just to let you know that this location does not serve gluten free french fries BUT if you go to the Swiss Chalet located at 344 Glendale Avenue they do. My son and I went here this evening and the manager, "Cel" guaranteed me that the french fries are hand cut in the kitchen and placed in a gluten free... More

Nice atmosphere, clean newly renovated restaurant. Close to shopping, easy to eat before or after shopping. Frequently coupons come in the mail to make it cheaper to eat here. Good food, good service.

Went with some of the family on a Wednesday evening... can always expect consistency in terms of the food and what not but the service is a wildcard. Went on a Wednesday night and while it was the super busy the wait to even get drinks was far too long. Didn't even know who our server was too wave them... More

It was Wednesday, two days after Thanksgiving and while their website indicated that the special for the Monday holiday would still be available for another four days, it was not on the menu, and when we inquired, told that not only had the pumpkin pie been gone since Saturday, but so was the cranberry sauce and the dressing, but we... Great service staff. Very attentive and pleasant. The food is what you get at swiss chalet except their fries seemed better than most. It is not haute cuisine but still quite edible. It is convenient if you've been in Niagara.

Food was disappointing. Cold, tasteless and unedible. Staff was worse. It is like they don't care. They should be retrained on service and food quality.

One would expect some real consistency at a place like Swiss Chalet, but while we have eaten here a number of times, the meals are good on occasion, mediocre at others. This was one of the other occasions; food arrived much too fast, waitress even joked about it. There was nothing really wrong with the food, but both the chicken... More

It seems that we have gotten into the habit of eating here after a trip to the Shaw Festival, and in many ways that is a good recommendation. While it's a bit off the highway, it is easy to get to (once you know where it is located), with lots of parking available, and a large dining area, so we... More

I'm all for chill in' out & mellow yellow but a salad should be green!! This is the third time I've tried it and while my expectations of Swiss Chalet are not for high end gourmet, would you please, please not fill the Caesar salad with only the bottom ends of romaine lettuce leaves! Let's get some green in there!

Description
Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?
