We went there yesterday hoping to enjoy their amazing Tapas night but it being a Tuesday (Tapas only on Mondays and Wednesdays), it was ribs that was on special. The ribs were good, tender and meaty. We also had the Sicilian Flatbread (yummy) as well as the buffalo wings which were big and juicy but not oily. We ordered too... More

Stuff quickly received our order, drinks and food came in quickly. Had some good single malt, vines list can improve. Food VERY tasty, loved the ribs. Service and cooking much better then similar places we visited. Looking forward to try patio in summertime. Lots of free parking space available compared to Port Dalhousie places down the road.

We had dinner there last night and all of our meals were terrible. There wasn't any steak on the steak sub, the bread was so hard and dry you could not eat it, even the chicken fingers were so over cooked they were not edible. Their excuse was the chef was in a bad mood and putting out bad food.... More

We visited the host restaurant with another couple. It was 7;00 pm and when we arrived we should have known, there were two tables occupied. The waitress came over and we ordered drinks. Then she came back and we placed our dinner orders. The other couple ordered philly steak sandwiches and they were terrible. The buns were so hard and... More

My husband and I had just finished kayaking for a few hrs in Port Dalhousie and were looking for a place to eat, we were happy to see that parking could accommodate our trailer. We dined outside because it was a beautiful day but the bees were terrible. We each ordered a Hamburg, mine was to have blue cheese mushrooms... More

Considering that the Fort Erie race track isn't open regularly, The Host Pub and Grill is somewhat "acceptable" establishment to go place your bets in the St- Catharines area. They offer a large variety of tv's to watch the races as well as several OTB machines. Which is a great benefit. As for the service, it is my understanding that... More

I went to the Host for a birthday party. The pizza looked like it had been made hours before the party and the crust was so hard that you couldn't eat it. Many of the party guests were commenting on it. The service and the venue itself were great. The waitress was very attentive.

Went there for dinner on a Sunday afternoon and the place was deader than a doornail (bad sign) But was recommended from a friend so we had to at least give it a try. The place reminded me of some grandparents basement with all the pine wood, hardly any windows and the one tv at the end of the dining... More
