John's is our go-to place for breakfast in Sarnia. Great service and food comes out promptly. Sometimes you don't appreciate how good John's is until you eat elsewhere, pay more, and come away disappointed. I wouldn't hesitate to bring friends here.

Food was well prepared. Generous portions. Great Staff. Fun 50's style décor. We have only had breakfast, so remainder of menu hasn't been tried...but if similar in quality to breakfast it is bound to be good.

John's is a local favorite & thus busy, especially with seniors like me. Pickerel (Walleye to our US friends) is always good & the eggs with peameal bacon is another long-time favorite at John's. Many long haul truckers cut off Hwy 402 to get these breakfasts. It's always a good spot for dependable food & service.

I've been here many times over the last 35 years and it's never a thrill. Greasy spoon- style food, with little imagination employed .......

The ambiance is that of any good small-town diner: warm, familiar and relaxed. The food is simple but tasty and well portioned. Enough options and variety on the menu to satisfy the most varied group. The best part is the service, they are friendly, courteous and accommodating. Is evident that management stresses the importance of good customer service and personable... More

We were passing through town, around 630am and found John's restaurant open. Fast and friendly service and large portions. Home fries were not very salty, which is a nice change.

A really popular place for breakfast but really don't know what the draw is unless its the back bacon. Have had some mundane, industrial type breakfasts here. Looks busy everytime I go by so they must be doing something right.

We love Johns! We typically go for brunch and yes, the place is packed. The service is usually still great considering how busy it is and food is always exactly as ordered. They have lots of vegetarian options as well. I have taken several friends and family members here and everyone has enjoyed it. My only suggestion would be for... More

Great family run Restaurant. The place to go in Sarnia. If you go on a Sunday go early before the church crowd. You won't get regular bacon here. Only peamale bacon! The real Canadian bacon and not that fake ham stuff the Americans try to sell.

Have only eaten breakfast here. There are lots of options...husband really enjoys poached eggs and Peameal...my favourite is the Greek omelet. Well staffed and friendly service.
