Small town cooking at its worst ... battered fried overcooked bland ... what more can I say. Yuck. Of course this is totally in keeping with the other places on Pelee. And maybe the servers could be told not to scratch their elbows, rub their noses, mess with their hair while taking orders; and show up for work looking like... More

This place provided average but undistinguished sustenance for our evening meal soon after our arrival in port. Location was pleasant enough but dining area was cluttered with numerous tables uncleared, poor lighting, dirty floors. The young men who were there to serve us were amiable and seemed to want to do their job but they were very disorganized. I think... More

We went here for dinner while staying on the island. The sun was too bright and there were no shades to help us out with the glare. The air conditioning only reached a small part of the room. The floors were dirty and had not been mopped. The tables were sticky. The food was okay. My son had the smelt... More

My wife and I had lunch and dinner at the Westview on our first day on the island. For lunch we both had the pickerel sandwich. It came with fries and coleslaw and was served on toasted, plain white bread. Serving this beautiful fresh fish on anything else would have taken away from the flavour. The fries were some of... An order of fries was $5.50 which was over priced to say the least.. The order was over fried, hard and of poor taste quality. The fries tasted like they had been fried in old stale grease. 2 orders of fries, 2 pop and a cup of tea came to $17.50 On my next trip to the island I think... More

We were looking to grab dinner prior to getting on the return ferry. This place is across the street so it was very convenient. Had the Cesar Chicken wrap and it was great. Wouldn't have any issue going back or recommending it.

This is straight forward pub food with a Lake Erie twist - perch and pickerel are readily available. Service is friendly and the location is handy to the west dock. Considering there are few options on the island, the Westview is a reasonable choice.

After 5 hrs biking around the island all we wanted to do was order take out and take it back to our room! We we're going to stay and eat there but after trying to pick a table to eat at we discovered they were all dirty and hadn't been wiped down! That should have been our 1st clue!!!!...so, we... More

Landing at 12:30 with 3 hungry grandsons, our party of 7 entered the only restaurant in sight with low expectations and left highly impressed. The Westview Tavern & Restaurant has the best onion rings I've ever had. Their Lake Erie perch were crisply fried to perfection. Their draft beer was refreshing. Service and value are very good.
