Yangtze is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in town. It reminds me of some of the large Chinese restaurants in Toronto - large room, lots of big tables, usually pretty full and bustling. Last night was our first visit in some months and the food, which is usually top notch was only ok. Vegetarian Hot and Sour was too... More

Arrived at about 11:45 on a Saturday for Dim Sum. Service was excellent, friendly, professional and prompt. We asked for an item no on the cart and it arrived quickly, perfectly cooked. Selection was good and the food was all prepared just right and tasty. Very enjoyable. Used to come often 10 yrs ago, this was better than ever, have... More

We went there because we heard so much about the Dim Sums at this place. Unfortunately for us it was a huge let down as all of their shrimp dumplings/shu-mei etc had pork mixed with it, and we don't eat pork. The noodles were also not that great at all. The fried rice and Kung Po Shrimp were not bad.

I'm a Chinese. It's the worst Chinese restaurant I have ate in Canada! The lobster is the smallest lobster in my mind! They hadn't clear the inside of lobster very cleanly. It is a disaster. The noodle is day and over-cooked. The other sides are terrible too. It's the worst in my experience. Don't come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Service is ok. Recommend baked BBQ buns. Waited for a long time for steamed rice rolls. Show pictures

This restaurant has been around so long that it is one of the cornerstones of Chinatown and has a much more pleasant décor than most restaurants in the area. I've dined there many times over the years and the food is consistently excellent! Both the lunch-time dim sum and the dinner menu are wonderfully varied and always tasty. Service is... More

We were here on a Friday for Dim Sum at 1.40 and we were told that no more DIM SUM carts and we have to use the menu to order DIM SUM. Normally, Dim Sum carts go around until 2.30pm but they seem to cut it all out. We drove past 2 other a la carte DIM SUM places close... More

The Dim Sum here is good, but it used to be excellent. I feel like everything was good, but missing that extra touch that used to make it fantastic and worth coming to. Going to Yangtze has been a tradition among friends for many years, perhaps it's time to try a new place. I feel like in some of the... More

We recently went to the Yangtze for dim sum for the first time in a few moths. We went at 11:30 on a weekday, and it was not very busy. The dim sum cart service was efficient and, as always, had great variety. One of our choices was the dim sum crispy noodle dish, and it was delicious. We had... More
