Had Chinese food for supper. Bland, greasy, uninspired - no better than food court fare. Don't waste your time or money here. There are so many better options available.

This place on the edge of the Byward Market has been a city institution for ages, with photos of all the notable politicians who have dined here. By now the decor is showing its age a bit, but never mind. You come here for the fabulous fresh dim sum menu and you leave happy and satisfied. The service is fast... More

Had not been back in several years and we decided while we were downtown to have dinner there before going back home. We had reserved and made an order for Peking duck. The restaurant was busy but not overly. The service was extremely slow and not overly friendly. The food was ok but as good as we remembered. Don't think... More

A friend and I ate large amounts of fresh and tasty dim sum here for lunch, as well as drinks and dessert and coffee, and couldn't crack the $50 mark. The only negative is the odd fly here and there.

We had a lovely dinner. Our entrees were served hot and in good time after the orders were placed. We enjoyed an appetizer of 2 cold shrimp rolls. Our mains were broccoli with chicken and beef in oyster sauce. We each also ordered a side of steamed rice. Take note that orders are served with the expectation that they will... More

We have been coming here for years for dim sum at lunch with the same group of friends. The food is consistently good, fresh and well prepared. The service is always warm and friendly and today was no different.

This was our first visit in many many years and it was just ok. The dim sum options are limited so order from the menu. The roast duck was bland and tasted like it had been sitting around too long. The ciar siu bao were nicely steamed but again had not much flavour. Best dish was the fried squid which... More

Very friendly staff plus foods that I adore most! What else should I look for! I am supposed to order more for each serving but they told me right away that their servings are huge and I am so fascinated by their honesty!

This is a good Cantonese restaurant . Their dim sum is fresh and hot and good quality. The best place is close to the kitchen because that's their first stop with the trolleys. Their dumplings are great as is the sticky rice and noodles. Great place for Sunday brunch.

While they also serve Thai food, I have been there for lunch with business partners and spouse many time and never was disappointed. The size of the dim sums are larger than what you get in other places. They are also very tasty. When ordering Singapore Vermicelli, I always ask for addtional curry powder and their's is fantastic almost as... More
