Four of us came here today to celebrate Mother's Day. Their menu is very creative, and reasonably priced. I loved my gravlax frittata, but was dying to try the Croque Elvis.....pork belly, peanut butter, French toast, banana and maple syrup!!!! Everyone at the table agreed the food was excellent. Service was friendly, too. Would love to try this place for... More

We went for drinks and dinner and arrived before the restaurant became crowded. Although the food was tastey, the service was disorganized and erratic. At one point when we wanted to order coffees we ended up asking another waiter because our initial waiter was serving customers at the other end of the restaurant. One waitress told us they did not... More

They might have awesome beer but the food is lame. I went for their hamburger and here is my experience: the meat tasted and looked like it was cooked yesterday and re-heated. The hamburger bun was old and "tired". It was crumbling and falling apart with every bite. The only good thing was the salad and the fries. However, on... More

This is the second trip to Ottawa where I went to this bistro. Service has been good each time as have the selection of craft beer and food. I had a chocolate porter then an IPA. This was accompanied by soupe du jour and then steak frites, all very edible. I'll be back next time!

We hit that location because it is well situated to our work place. The beer selection is always good and fresh. Not sure how the food is although heard some positive from friends. We don't go for the food however, its for the beer. Don't go for fancy drinks, I once ordered a long island ice tea and was given... More

We were a group of 6 and sat in a booth. The high back helped with noise and the draft when the front door opened. The service was friendly and knowledgeable of the dish composition. The soup of the day (Tomato) was very good. The batter on the single piece of Fish & Chips was soggy. The fries were meaty... More

I love craft beer and this is the one-stop when I come to Ottawa. They have a fantastic offering that changes almost on a weekly basis. Food is great as well. Price is fair, service is usually very good. Fries for my burger were very salty last time and I hope this is not a plot to get us to... More

I would give this lunch experience a 3.75 if I could give partial points. Monday lunch in the winter was very quiet - to be expected. Service was a bit slow considering, but friendly. Beer selection is great, and right now there is a 'tap takeover' from Amsterdam Brewery which we enjoyed. Most of the beer selection is otherwise bottled.... More

They served only small plates on Sunday and Monday nights. Our favorite was the the Smoked duck breast. It was nicely presented, good portion, flavorful, and the fatty layer not too thick. The beer expert of our party claimed that their IPA was the best he ever had and he had travelled the world and tasted countless beer.
