This pub is permanently closed, which is a good thing because the peeling wallpaper was becoming a hazard when it started falling off the walls.

Very busy on a Friday. A bit gloomy for me. All the food I have had was excellent Pub food. Beef filled Yorkshire Pudding is outstanding. Beer choices are great. Service was rushed off their feet, but cheerful and helpful.
Really great traditional British pub food and semi-grunge pub atmosphere. It's been around forever and is a staple spot in Bronte. Definitely recommended.
