This place is a hidden gem with delicious, authentic Mexican food. I ordered the fish burrito and the portion was generous. The prices are good and they serve two kinds of Dos Equis beer.

I have tried other Mexican restaurants in Mississauga but seem to always come back to this restaurant. Their taco salad is what I order whenever I go there. The crunchy taco bowl with the right amount of chicken, salad and dressing makes for a good meal.
First time visiting this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised! Although I really wanted to have the fish tacos (they were sold out by the time we got there - Saturday 7:45pm), I had the best chicken quesadilla ever!!! (my favourite). Definitely recommended and will be back again to try something else
I really like their burritos. And in the summer they have a great patio for relaxing with friends. I would recommend this place to any mex food lover
I have been going to El Sombrero for many years now, and keep taking new friends and business associates here. The food is just so fresh and so good, and great value. The taco salad is my usual pick! This is right off the 401 and a great place to stop before getting into the thick of Toronto traffic!
A little confusing at first but once we told them that, they explained it nicely. You order what you want off the menu above the food counter and then tell them what you want on it like Subway...you pay and they bring the food to you once it is done. We sat outside on the patio. The place is tiny... More
It's Okay. It's basically a take-out place. The restaurant is really cheap. This is a grab-and-go deli/ cafeteria-style eatery with plastic knives, forks and spoons and a cheesy tablecloth. Food is okay. Was just in Tijuana, Mexico and this place doesn't come close. Tacos were tasteless.
This place has been a favorite of mine for years, and is a lovely little Cantina, a Mexican oasis in a sea of suburbia. Charming décor, authentic home-made Mexican food, prepared and served by very friendly staff. The place is self-serve, and makes a great spot for lunch or after work. LOVE the authenticity - Mexican music steaming, the hot... More
Great variety, good service and plenty of seating available. The nachos are delicious and the taco bowl looked amazing. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price.
I love Mexican food, and they do serve a good fresh lunch here! Burritos, taco salad, quesadillas, soup and much more. It's a bit pricy for perhaps lunch but if you want fresh ingredients then you have to pay for it. Not a fancy place, great out door patio to dine on. It gets really busy so be prepared to... More
