Took my son, who is a very picky eater, and various friends there and they have all loved it. Good quality and friendly service.

Reviews were good, decided to try it on the way home from Ottawa. They are literally JUST sandwiches. Nothing special about them, literally sandwiches you can easily make at home. Three for $30. We assumed it would be like a mile high sandwich, some veggies or good amount of ingredients inside. Nope. Even the bread was average. We couldn't tell... More

We walked in for take out so did not experience many things other reviewers mentioned. The menu is clear (including combos) and there are many choices. The breads were fresh and very tasty. The sandwiches were a decent size and the cheeses varied. We asked for things like extra pickles and there was no problem at all. The staff were... More

I had really high hopes for this restaurant. I had heard it was on TV and how great it was. Sadly, the person working the counter lastnight was less than pleasant. We arrived at 9:00pm I ordered my sandwich, no side and my bf ordered his with a side poutine. The Sandwich I had alone came to 11 dollars and... More

Just had to try Mlt Down for lunch before leaving Kingston and glad we did. Went with the mac and cheese and it tasted as good as it sounds. Real KD surrounded by melted cheddar on grilled texas toast. The waffle fries were a great side too. There are many excellent choices for other gourmet-style grilled cheese and they all... More

We had visited here when it opened in August 2012 - AMAZING!! The 4 of us were excited to return there today as we were driving on the 401 and decided to stop for lunch. This visit was disappointing and is unfortunate that such a good thing is on its way downhill in the customer service tone, cleanliness and their... More

This morning I saw Mlt Dwn featured on "Gotta Eat Here". And decided that I had to go there. My husband and I went down this afternoon and we were both very happy with our sandwiches. I wanted to try to featured sandwiches so started with the lasagna grilled cheese. It was amazing but I was so full that I... More

Went with a friend and the food was great. Nice little place that had quick service. Food was promptly ready and was very good. Highly recommend trying if your shopping downtown on Princess Street. I had the lasagna sandwich and wasn't disappointed.

Have been here multiple. They offer a wide variety of grilled cheese sandwiches. All ingredients seem to be of top quality. Lattice Fries are great as well

A friend and I opted for MLT DWN as our choice of venue for our monthly catch-up lunch together today. It was a cold, rainy blustery day in down town Kingston, so a lunch specializing in a variety warm grilled cheese sandwiches greatly appealed. Located along the Princess St strip, parking is always an issue and was easier for me... More
