A great fast, fresh and delicious lunch spot. Bread was fresh! Stopped in for a quick lunch break and was out in 30 minutes. Great service and fresh food. Menu is small but has lots of variety in flavors.

Great little spot in downtown Barrie. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast of Eggs Benedict and Ranchos Huevos. The presentation of the food was beautiful, kudos to the kitchen staff. The server was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The chicken salad was lovely and fresh, although I thought it was a little light on chicken and blue cheese (which I had to seriously hunt for) so I left a bit hungry. The sandwiches are well done. Wait staff was great. Nice strong coffee.

Have visited this establishment twice now. Once with my wife and again with the in-laws, both times for breakfast. I was so impressed with the Huevos Rancheros that I had it the second time as well. My wife had the classic. Coffee is on point (from a local roaster I believe) and the food was fresh and delicious. They make... More

Had Lunch here a couple of times now, very nice, fresh tasty food. Small, Eclectic kind of place, lots of veggie choices, they even had live music on the weekend we were there last! Gotta go back for breakfast, looked really good...

Sooo good. Cafe at the Dundas and Maple intersection. First time here. I ordered this delicious crepe stuffed with feta, goat cheese, steamed spinach, turkey bacon etc and a side of fruit. Very friendly staff. It was only $12. The creative and health-conscious dishes paired with the presentation, taste, price, and staff easily earn 5 stars in my book!

Came here for the first time today for lunch. I have been meaning to come here for ages but finally found the time. I had the BLT special with Turkey bacon and a house salad. Top notch. Oh, and the music was almost the exact same playlist i have on my computer so that was a bonus! Will definitely be... More

Don't miss this place. Will be my Barrie go-to from now on. Real ingredients, real coffee (try the Canadiano) made by real people!

Great find in downtown Barrie during Winterfest. First time visitor. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Varied lunchtime menu, from soup, salads, sandwiches. All fresh ingredients and priced accordingly. Mexican hot chocolate was delicious!! Make this cafe your next stop for lunch. Highly recommend.

Description
We are a quaint, soulful, independently owned cafe in the heart of downtown Barrie with a focus on fresh and conscious eating.

Open seven days a week we offer a breakfast and lunch menu that strongly emphasizes vegetarian and gluten free options along with locally raised, free range chicken. Everything is made in house including our sandwich bread which is a whole wheat focaccia & our soups which are always made gluten free.

The Lazy Tulip vibe is worldly, spiritual & funky. Music is a big part of the atmosphere which ranges from Indian tablas to local musical talent to current faves.

We serve Planet Bean coffee, a small micro-roaster from Guelph and it's full flavored, fair trade and certified organic.
