Great spot on the water. Cool decor inside but sat outside with a great view of the boardwalk and harbour. Food was delicious. However the service was a little slow. Waited a long time between appetisers and mains. Otherwise fantastic lunch.

The Bicycle Theif seems to be a hot spot in Halifax. There's a lively vibe though a bit on the loud side for conversation. Try the prosciutto and fried artichoke appetizer. Yummy! The lobster fettuccine was very good with lots of lobster. The spaghettini special...More

I had read that The Bicycle Thief was a great restaurant that should be sampled. This proved to be true as our reservation with a preference for "near the windows" was met and was the first step to a memorable meal. The service was excellent...More

Hosted a dinner for 20 people while attending a conference in Halifax. Everyone had rave reviews about the food and the size of the portions. Thank you for making our great night.

Check out their website online, or give them a call. But, I do not think they have this dish on their regular menu.

We paid less than $100 canadian for an appetizer of calamari, and two mains which were on the higher end of the menu with a white sangria, a beer and desert. Well worth every penny!
