Garrison is a favorite spot of mine! It's the perfect location for a day spent strolling the waterfront, you walk the full length one way, take a beer break and then make your way back along the water. They always have tons of interesting beers...to try, not necessarily the best local brews in my opinion but that is the beauty of a flight... for ten bucks you get to try five beers. Also great to support local during these tough times.More

Great vibe and energy, staff was fantastic - accommodating and really friendly! We bought lunch at the market and were able to enjoy it in the brewery - loved this option. Great patio for people watching. The beer is also great - lots of variety!...Definitely a must do when in HalifaxMore

Lots of choice here and fun merchandise to explore. A good place to have a rest with a flight of beer after going to the market.

Date of Visit: Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 Located on the end of the Halifax waterfront boardwalk, you will find a large building that houses Garrison Brewing co. If you love craft beer, you will want to make a stop at Garrison. They have many brews...on tap, you can enjoy a drink on the patio, or at the bar. There are several cans and bottles that you can purchase to take home. They have lovely merchandise designed by a local artist as wellMore

This place has some pretty good locally brewed beers and has a great atmosphere. They have a number of beers to choose from and there small and big flights allow you to choose a number of different beers to pick from.

We stopped here and had a flight of beer. Fantastic. My only issue is that the service is sort of "clunky"..... Didn't quite know how to get served... This is the only place where it was sort of like a fast food place - go...to the counter (not a bar) and they give you your flight..... Then find a seat. A little odd - but the taste of the beer made up for it.More

Ended up staying a while! Great place to sit outside and have a beer. The employees were very friendly, the beer was cold and we enjoyed talking to others outside.

We stopped at many breweries in Nova Scotia and this was one of the best. It was the best gift shop. Very nice setting beside the market. Staff very helpful. Great beer that we asked for many more times at various restaurants and pubs throughout...the Province.More

The only food I remember was some beef jerky and other packaged items at the register. It was a bit of a rush as there were so many in line in front and back of us. I recommend however that you enjoy the good beers, and... More
