I've lived in Portland Hills for 3 years now and just discovered this hidden gem. My son & I ordered the Set Menu for Two and really enjoyed trying all of the different offerings. The Mixed Meze Plate was a favorite and the Kebabs were...really good. Portions were generous and we ended up with leftovers for another meal. Staff organized contactless trunk service for take-out. Would definitely recommend.More

Usta is amazing and a must try! My husband and I eat here once or twice a month. It is some of the best Turkish I've ever had. The owner is super sweet and the staff are lovely. But the food!!!! It truly is incredible!...And very reasonably priced.More

First time visitors, and we'll definitely be back. Service was very friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. We ordered the lamb tenderloin and it was AMAZING. Perfectly cooked, scrumptiously seasoned, and a significant portion as well. This alone is worth a return visit!

Another great meal. Hurry for the lamb shank if you can. Never a bad meal. Fresh ingredients always taste best.

$ of us visited Usta last night. Very quiet at the time only 3 tables busy. Greeted by a friendly waitress Lucia. The restaurant was small but warm and comfortable. The allow you to bring your own wine there is a corking fee, $12 dollars...I believe. One couple were vegan and gluten free., they enjoyed the grape leaves, falafel , humus and pita, with a small salad and lentil soup. We enjoyed the special...moussaka which came with a salad and rice. Very nice meal, and excellent service. located by Finbars in Portland hills...worth the visitMore

Had dinner here for the first time with another couple. The restaurant was actually celebrating it’s 3rd birthday - it’s tucked away behind Finbars in Dartmouth. I am a fan of Turkish food and was delighted with this new find. We loved the Turkish cloth...patterned tablecloths and mosaic lighting. Starters were delicious , hummus with lamb , spinach and yoghurt , lentil soup. All excellent. Then spicy chicken kebab, kofte kebab , lamb medallions and vegetarian platter. We all loved our mains. I love baklava and theirs is hands down one of the best I’ve had. Lovely Turkish tea and we were all stuffed ! Our server was charming and informative which always adds to the overall experience We will be back for more !!More

Ordered take out Garlic Chicken. Main meal was hot even after a 10 minute ride back to my hotel room. No utensils nor napkins provided as it should be with take out. Came with rice, processed chicken breast, salad, one tiny piece of grilled green...pepper, and tzatziki. It was just okay. Disappointed in the processed chicken breast. Won’t be ordering from here again.More

Dined here today for the first time and will definitely be returning. The dishes were delicious and the portions large. Everything was so fresh. Staff friendly and a great ambience. So happy we found this little gem.

Took the extended family there for my birthday celebration last evening and everyone was delighted with the food. We have several fussy eaters and they are all planning a return visit. My favourite restaurant in Dartmouth by far!
