We stopped for lunch at Leo's Cafe. It;s in an old house so the layout is a bit odd for a restaurant. Considering lunch for us was a mix of sandwiches, soups and salads, the food was a bit slow to arrive, but when it...More

Great place for lunch! I had the Reuben sandwich, which was not large, but very tasty. At less than $7, it was a very good value. My husband had a tuna melt which came with sliced apples on top. He's not one for anything different,...More

Sometimes you just have to trust the locals! They all said that Leo's was great for lunch and they were not wrong. Simple bistro food that tasted homemade - a welcomed meal amongst many of our lunch and dinner outings while travelling around Nova Scotia.

This was by far the best place we have eaten since we left home 2 weeks ago. Everything was fresh and the service was great. Try the Ruben you won't be disappointed .

Arrived without reservation (6 of us - 2 seniors - 2 40 somethings - 2 teenagers) - staff made room for us to sit together and served us like old friends. The food was excellent.

My mother and I stopped to eat there after the plant sale. We both ordered the 1/2 roastbeef and havarti sandwich with tomato bisque. The bread was delicious and so was the tomato bisque. But they need to be able tell the difference between a...More

Best Sandwich place in the valley and a great place to stop for lunch when visiting Annapolis Royal NS.

We wanted to have a light snack and a cup of tea and coffee. The blueberry turnovers were really good, as was the coffee but the tea tasted very fishy, it was undrinkable.
