The Afghan has a limited menu of very good for. I go for the (inherently gluten-free) non-veg curry platter. It tastes good, is always piping hot, served with a smile and easy on the pocketbook.

We have been enjoying Afghan food for a few years in various countries and this Afghan restaurant offers one of the best value we have found so far in America and Europe ! The Non-Vegetarian Meal and the Samosas were excellent while the Chicken Kabab was unfortunatly too dry ! Overall our meals were a very good value !

I liked the food here, the menu has a good chunk of Afghani food delicacies and they can be made to suit your spice taste.

Ok, so I love this place and I challenge you to find a better portion for the price. Good desert, good tea, good food. It's a tad small, but the food and authentic decor really make a visit to this location worth it.

I go here often for lunch breaks or when I just don't want to cook supper. I usually go for the special of the day, which never disappoints. For $13 you really can't go wrong!

We had lunch here and it was great. Very small place with small menu but good menu. We had a kebab and curry and we both loved it. Not to forget the samosas we had as well. They were great. This is Afghan home cooking and we highly recommend this place. Also the prices are really good.

Had a really nice meal of lamb kebob and vegetable curry. As good as the Afghan food in any big city.

Afghan home cooking, Mom in the kitchen. Not a lot of choice, and only a handful of seats, but boy its good food! And very different from most other cuisines, so worth the adventure. Did I say cheap too?

I have been eating here for years and they never disappoint. The food is always delicious, some of the most flavourful Afghan food I have tasted. It is one of St. John's true hidden gems.

A tiny, cute, no-frills restaurant. Food was flavourful and well priced. Perfect amount for two people, we were both stuffed.
