George street was pretty quiet, as it was early. We found this restaurant, and after searching out the staff, had a great meal of mussels and other appetizers.

We went to many pubs while in St John's, hands down Bridie's had the best chowder and the best fish and chips. Would reccomend for cold beer, good food and live music. Thanks to the crew at Bridie Malloy's.

This is a wonderful spot for a quick lunch and a beverage. Great service and good home cooked food with a great menu of local selections. Looked after very well by Chico.

This was one of the best, friendliest pubs I visited on George Street, with great music sessions and a nice interior that reminded me of pubs in Ireland. Loved it!
