Welcome was okay. Service was a little slow. We ordered the specials. The lobster bisque was tasty, but very watery. We asked for more bread which never came (at least it was baguette). Our seafood lasagna was also tasty with good portions of shrimp, scallops...and lobster. However, it too was so watery that we asked for spoons. It was more a seafood chowder than a lasagna. Our bill didn't come promptly, so I went to the counter to pay. Our server arrived and asked me if we wanted dessert! I replied, "My wife has gone to the car and I'm standing here at the counter with my credit card in hand, so what do you think?" She replied by blaming our experience on 'new staff.' Our first and last time at this highly overpriced restaurant. Lesson learned.More

Charming atmosphere, friendly staff, great wine menu (and wine!), excellent dinner menu selections - something for everyone. Fairly priced. We shared a delicious lobster risotto, and I had the filet mignon, while my daughter, the hunter's chicken. Everything was sublime. My daughter's words: "If this...meal was a man, I'd marry it!" The creme brulee was truly as good as it gets: perfect crackly crust and soft flavourful centre. The chef came around, checking on our dinner, which was sweet. But it didn't stop there. When we were paying our bill, both the chef/owner, and our lovely server were chatting with us. They asked if we had the Nova Scotia license plates/certain car. Yes, it was ours, and it seems that they noticed that the tire was almost flat. Without hesitation, the chef, Monty, had us follow him in his vehicle to a nearby service station, where he proceeded to put the air in the tire for us! Now that's service. But even before this incredibly kind and noble gesture, we had already promised ourselves to return to le Petit Paris again, soon. We heard the rack of lamb is to die for!More

A wonderful evening - of eight meals, all eight were amazing. We were too full for dessert but decided the meals were so good, we needed to try the desserts as well. Every plate was emptied. Our server, Joanne, made the evening even more enjoyable....We will definitely make a point of coming back - thanks for a perfect evening!! 😃More

This was our first visit and it will not be our last! What a great little restaurant. The chef shows his passion for his food in every dish. Our party ordered the Escargots and the Lobster Mushroom Gratin for appetizers and we had the Coquilles...St. Jacques and the special Pasta with shrimp and scallop in a cream sauce. For dessert we went with the Creme Brûlée. ALL of it was on par with the phenomenal dishes we had while visiting Paris and Lyon. This is a local gem!More

My Family and I were in the area for a vacation and visited this AMAZING restaurant, started with some delicious Pinot Grigio and escargot and for my main dish I ordered the Lamb ( which I have never before had) was absolutely amazing ! The...owner/chef was out to our table while we were eating to ask how everything was. Super pleasant people and a huge 10/10 to our server Christine who made our experience all the more enjoyable! I cannot wait to return ! Thank you JulieMore

Excellent food and excellent service. Great French wine selection. Even the French music was nice.. not too loud. The patio is nice but was full so we ate inside. Was the best filet mignon we ever had. The potatoes dauphinoises are excellent. The chef popped...by our table to check if everything was alright. We will definitely return!More

They offered take out service for valentines day because of limited seating in restaurant due to Covid. We where happy to experience the same delicious dishes freshly prepared and as good as when we eat in restaurant. Would not hesitate to use the takeout service...again when available.More

Great atmosphere even with social distancing. We were a group of 4 and we all enjoyed our meals. I started with the garlic cheese escargot followed by the seafood lasagna. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a bit pricey but very worth it

Wow, what a treat this was! My wife and I were staying in Shediac for the night and drove past this restaurant. It was around 5:30 and decided to see if they had a table. Unfortunately they were booked, but had an opening at 8:00,...so we reserved a table. Le Petit Paris is a cozy restaurant that had an extensive menu. We shared the Sauté de crevettes au gingembre, piments, ail et crème (Shrimps stirfry in a ginger, peppers, garlic and cream sauce) as an appetizer. They were very delicious and the cream sauce even lent itself to the small bits of greens, grapes, strawberries and apples garnishing the dish. For the entree we both had the Poitrine de poulet sauce au homard - Lobster sauce's Chicken breast. This is a large boneless breast of chicken with full lobster claw and knuckle meat on top in a light sauce. I can’t say enough how good this was. It was served with herbed mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. The only bad part of the meal was being to full to sample the creme brûlée. I can definitely say that we will be back.More

We went to this wonderful restaurant for a celebratory meal and enjoyed every minute of our experience! We had the seafood lasagna, Coquille St. Jacques and the Haddock. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and were very pleased with the sides of rice and sautéed...veggies! For dessert we had the scrumptious Molten Lava cake and the delicious crème brûlée! We will definitely be returning to this wonderful restaurant!More

We chose Le Petit Paris for my 2 sister's birthday celebration. We where not disappointed! The service was great, very friendly and attentive server. The food was outstanding, the Chef even came to check on us a few times to make sure everything was to...our liking. Very professional and it is evident that he has a passion and a gift for creating amazing dishes. They made my sister's birthday celebration an evening to remember!
